This is good for 2-3 times a week as I find it very drying and abrasive on my skin. I have very sensitive, combination skin and always have to be gentle when using this scrub. I bought it to even my skin tone out as I have redness and blackheads, and it honestly does what it says in this regard. Be gentle when using this and don’t use it every day!

I love the scent and that the exfoliating is a little more gentle than the apricot scrub but it is hard to remove and it gets into your eyes very easily. I’ve never had this problem with the apricot scrub but no matter how hard I try to avoid my eye area, the particles got into my eye during rinsing and really irritated them.

The Blemish and blackhead apricot scrub is one of my favorite products and really improved my skin.
Of course my WM had been out for a while so I decided to try this one. It smelled nice and light and seemed to have a lot of scrubbing properties so I thought it would be good.Unfortunately it did not exfoliate well enough for me. It was too gentle which is good if you have sensitive skin. My skin is oily and sensitive and this did not irriate my skin but it really did not do anything to benefit it either. With the other one for blemishes/blackhead and the original formula my skin is very smooth and brightened. With this one… nothing.
The scrubbing particles are very small and can be a bit of a pain to remove. They can also easily get into the eyes and are very hard to remove.
I feel like no matter how long I rinse I still have some of these particles left on my skin. It is almost like a fine sand in a creamy base. I do not think this is a bad product but it is not for me.

I bought this in the little travel packet because I was in a bind. I couldn’t find my usual face wash in stores anymore and just wanted something cheap. I also just realized how bad my blackheads had gotten. I still get them once in a while but they’re gone when I use this ! I wouldn’t buy the big packaging of this because I use something else on a daily basis.
The beads are small which are a good and bad thing. It’s good because I don’t feel like big beads do much for my face when I use it; it’s bad because when I’m not careful, the beads get in my eyes and won’t come off easily. However, if you just scrub around your nose and cheeks, you should be fine.
I can’t really tell if it’s drying to my skin or not because I use a lot of moisturizer anyway, but it’s good for blackheads and exfoliating.

I am a fan of green tea so I purchased this. I love the st ives apricot scrub.
This product made me breakout right after the first use. All over my forehead and cheeks. Definitely would not repurchase.

I’ve been using this for years. I used to use it for my face. After a while, I realized it really wasn’t doing much for me. I still use it, but for my hands. I absolutely love it for my hands. It’s gentile, gets rid of dead skin without irritating me and leaves my hands silky smooth. I use it every 3-4 days without any problems. I could probably use it daily. The exfoliating beads are small, and you only need a little bit (face or hands). I love the smell too. It’s light and refreshing. The scent does not linger, so it will not interfere with perfumes/sprays/lotions. So much love. Repurchase forever!

This is a really good, gentle exfoliating scrub and good alternative to the Apricot Scrub if that is too harsh for you. This scurb is extremely gentle scrub while still actually exfoliating and cleansing; it does a really good job of getting into your pores and getting all the yucky stuff out of your pores. It has a pretty nice, fresh smell to it as well.
Another thing that’s great about this is that, like a lot of the St. Ives products, you get a lot of product for the money you pay-I find that with this, and the Apricot Scrub, once you’re running low-you can take the cap off and if you really squeeze it you can find that you get more product out than you thought was left.

This product worked okay for me at first. It got rid of my breakouts but it didn’t really keep up the good work for too long and eventually my breakouts came back and its magic stopped working. I ended up using it for a month or so then switched to St. Ives’ Apricot Scrub which I absolutely love.

I bought this scrub because I heard that the St. Ives Apricot Scrub was too harsh to use on your skin.
There are no cons to this scrub! It gets rid of the black heads on my nose for a few days, smells nice, and I can use it on my entire face without breaking me out or drying my skin! I used this yesterday, and my forehead stayed very matte (but not dry) for the entire day, which I would consider an accomplishment. I would definitely recommend this to just about anyone.
