   This is a brilliant cleanser for all skin types. There is not a lot of hype about this product, but there are countless of non-popular products that deserve a lot more recognition. This is one of them. (Having said that, it’s probably a good thing it isn’t so popular, many brands put up their prices when their products get more recognition…..fushi rosehip oil 100ml cost £10 a couple of years ago, after media recognition etc, it now retails for £20….)

   FOR DRIER SKIN TYPES: It has a rich and creamy texture, does not require water when initially massaging into face. Massage into dry skin and it dissolves ALL kinds of makeup, dirt, grease etc. Safe to use around the eye and has never caused me any irritation. Rinses off extremely easily with water. No need for a wash cloth to remove, which is usually required for cream cleansers.

   I have come across many cleansers for dry skin- those that you tissue off (ie apply on dry skin, and remove with cotton pad, hence no water needed), and then there are those that need water when massaging in upon initial application like paula’s choice cleansing gel for very dry skin. Then you have cream cleansers/balms/oils, that you apply on dry skin, but require a wash cloth for removal. I dislike all three. I have rarely come across a rich creamy cleanser that washes off with water, which is what this cleanser is. This is by far one of the best I have tried as after washing your skin feels nourished. I did not think that was possible from a cleanser.

   FOR OILIER SKIN TYPES: Brilliant when used as a hot cloth cleanser. (It may be a bit too moisturising if just washed off hence flannel, muslin cloth would be better)

   INGREDIENTS:It contains no nasties (from the website: no essential oils, alcohol (ethyl alcohol, ethanol), parabens, lanolin, petrochemicals, methylisothiazolinone, methylchloroisothiazolinone, phthalates, artificial colourants, artificial fragrances or irritating emulsifiers).

   CONSISTENCY: It is rich and creamy, but not greasy. Someone likened this to a cold cream, but i disagree, cold cream is very greasy, this is not greasy, just really really nourishing, and believe me there is a difference. Leaves your skin feeling really soft and smoothed.

   I have chronic dry skin, which means i layer my skincare even in the summer months, this cleanser is fabulous for my skin and does not cause any irritation at all. My mum (who i inherited my dry skin from) the worlds greatest skeptic, upon trying this commented how soft her skin felt after application.

   I rarely purchase things again, and am always on the hunt for newer, better things. This however, is something that i have not found a better alternative to and will continue to repurchase. Sadly they have put the price up – the bottles were 200ml but they have made them smaller to 150 ml and not changed the price 🙁

   Still will repurchase.

   Love it! Last month I sat myself on a small budget, therefore I needed a cheap cleanser (instead of my Matis Purete-cleanser). I saw this in a shop, and bought it. I’d never heard about the brand before, but I love them!
   This is gentle, mild. My skin gets clean, but not dehydrated. It removes makeup perfectly (even on my eyes) and I just love it. Cheap and great as hell.

   My holy grail cleanser have been using it for 3 months, cleanses and tones my skin in one go – love the feeling of it on my face, like a reviewer said old fashioned cold cream but to me in the best sense – luxuriously creamy and nurturing when massaged into my dry skin. Then rinsed off with warm water you have clean makeup free skin that is not tight or stinging, yet also doesn’t make my oily complexion worse. I have tried a lot of cleansers over the years and the ones that soothed my rosaeca made my oily skin overreact and vice versa. To me this one is unique and a keeper!

   This is promoted as a 2-in-1 cleanser and makeup remover for sensitive skin. It is made without essential oils, parabens, lanolin, petrochemicals and phthalates. It retails in the UK for about £15 for 200ml.
   I agree that it does remove full makeup easily and gently. I like the fact that you don’t even need to use a cloth or cotton wool – it can just be smoothed on and rinsed away. It feels a bit like an old-fashioned cold cream, with a thick, creamy texture that may be heavy on anything other than dry/mature skin. For reference, my skin is normal (but, if anything, gets oilier during the day) and it was a bit too rich for my liking. It didn’t break me out, but I’d prefer a lighter ‘finish’. (In fact, I would tend to cleanse with a gentle foaming face wash afterwards.)
   Not a bad product, but I find basic plant and nut oils a cheaper and more effective option.

   I’ve ordered trial-size versions of almost every product in Green People’s Base No Scent line. I have to admit that this is not the most perfect cleanser for my breakout prone skin considering that is very rich in several oils. All that aside, it’s a very good cleanser vor dry, non-breakout prone skin; it takes of makeup very well, and despite being quite oily, it washes off perfectly with just water. And all this without irritation. But somehow it just reminds me too much of a face cream instead of a cleanser… It just doesn’t feel quite right. The ingredient list is also surprisingly similar to the No Scent 24 Hour Moisture Cream.

   NOTE: This cleanser contains the exact same ingredients as Green People’s Gentle Cleanse, which just adds a few essential oils to the mix for fragrance. So if you prefer a fragranced version, and your skin doesn’t mind it, you can try Gentle Cleanse instead of No Scent Cleanser. You can get 7-10 ml trial-size tubes of both.
