i got this because i needed more cleanser and it was $2.50 on clearance so i mean how could i not! have been using 1-2x per day for the last two and a half weeks or so and my skin texture has improved massively! my face feels so different just rubbing on moisturizer – a lot smoother and softer. my crazy lumpy blackhead-ridden nose situation seems to have improved as well which is great because nothing seemed to work on those bad boys! very pleased. the grapefruit scent is nice and fresh and it is not super foamy but thats fine with me – bottle is standard, would have been nicer with a pump but its not a big deal at all. overall a good purchase and i would recommend!

Skin feels slightly tight after but nothing too dramatic, skin feels very clean after.
Noticed if I used only a little bit that my skin didn’t feel so tight.
I alternate this with my cetaphil cleanser so that im not drying out my face / using too much acids. Use it when my face needs a “deep cleanse” I.e. when I’ve worn foundation.
I don’t wear makeup everyday so cetaphil is sufficient on a day to day.

I use at night as it is a deeper cleanse. It smells citrusy and is very affordable. I follow with the scrub and I have all nip masks and rotate.

PROS: Pleasant grapefruit scent.
CONS: Dried out my face with no positive effect on my face acne. When used as a body wash, it broke me out in painful whiteheads everywhere. No thanks.

I have used up a bottle and am on my second. This is one of the most effective acne fighting cleansers Which helped me realize that my skin likes glycolic aka AHA (alpha hydroxy acid). There is no doubt AHA smoothes the texture of my skin by exfoliating the dead cells that clogs pores. I have brighter younger looking skin for it. For $10.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart, this gem is fantastic value. My cleansing routine: 1. oil cleanser to remove makeup; 2. This cleanser to clear pores and remove oil residue; 3. Pixie Glow Tonic (5% glycolic toner). 4. Use physical exfoliator like a peel off mask (I love Freeman’s) or a scrub (Lush Ocean Salt or Herbalism) once or twice a week.

*Edit 10/05/2017: after extended use it got too harsh to use daily glycolic cleanser – since the pH of this isn’t at exfoliating level I wanted to incorporate another chemically exfoliating product but using it after the cleanser made my skin so raw! I have since switched cleansers and am able to chemically exfoliate with no problems.
Yes I know it might be early days, I have only been using this product for a week, however it has rapidly improved the texture of my nose – no longer is it bumpy from all the sebaceous filaments blocking my pores! It also has helped to prevent/treat acne, all the while being gentle on my skin – non-irritating and non-drying (I only use it at night and a small amount). In the past, before this product, I’ve used up acid toners such as Paula’s choice BHA 2%, Go To exfoliating swipeys, Nip Fab extreme exfoliating pads and Cosrx bha liquid however none of these gave me the result of this AHA in cleanser form. I know people say using acids in a cleanser is a waste because the product isn’t on long enough to have any effect but for my skin this has proven otherwise. I am so happy to have found this and would totally recommend and repurchase!

I have sensitive, combination skin and this cleanser is perfect for me! I recently bought the entire line and ended up returning a few of the products that I felt did not suit my skin’s needs/did not work. This product was one of the keepers.
It does a low lather but it does not bother me because when I use it woth my manual face brush, it lathers just fine. It has a subtle grapefruit scent that I never paid much attention to until I saw other people pointing it out.
Overall, it leaves my skin super smooth and soft and it’s a great addition to any skin routine involving the use of glycolic products after cleansing. Gentle enough for everyday use and takes all of my makeup off.

I like this product so far, having used it for about a week. I will report back if my opinion changes. I find the grapefruit scent to be wonderful. The texture of this cleanser is rather running and thin. I expected it to be a bit thicker for some reason. It is a very low lather cleanser. A pump would be an improvement over the cap top packaging. Pretty good product – does not work miracles but seems to be decent.

I love this product. I was looking for something that would deeply cleanse my skin, since I was trying to get rid of blackheads, but I did not vouch for any other deep pore cleansers, since they irritate my sensitive skin a lot.
I read that glycolic acid is really efficient at re-texturing the skin so I decided to give it a try.
I leave it on my face for a good minute before washing it off, and it starts to get tingly, but it doesn’t irritate my skin or cause any breakouts. When I wash it off it always leaves my skin smooth and fresh.
I cannot comment on long term effects and my blackheads didn’t go away, but that is probably my fault since I’m really inconsistent with the use of products.
The product has a very strong grapefruit scent, which I find refreshing but would prefer something milder. It might not suit everyone.
The packaging is okay. I would prefer something easier to use, but I guess all in all it is quite alright. I have to note though, DO NOT have it close to your face when opening. I once did, whilst showering and a tiny drop went in my eye. Really painful experience :p

This cleanser is amazing. I suffer from hormonal acne and hyperpigmentation. This product is gentle for my skin, and has helped with the texture and evening my skin tone. It smells delightful.
