After my favorite HG cleanser was discontinued, I started a search for a new one. This was on my list. Sadly, it left an icky residue on my skin, and broke me out. I will throw it away.

Unfortunately this was a fail for me…didn’t clean my skin well, left a weird residue, & doesn’t even come close to the cleaning power of my Dove bar. Paula may recommend but for my skin, Dove wins to keep blemishes away every time!!

I am upping my rating of this product from a 2 to a 5 because it absolutely SAVED my skin. When I first bought it and my skin was a bit more on the oily side, I found this cleanser underwhelming and useless. But then over a period of months I absolutely DESTROYED my skin’s moisture barrier with some hardcore hydroxy acid abuse (I had been using Mario Badescu’s glycolic acid toner, and then when I found out about their little unlabeled-steroid stunt– –I stopped using all of their products). My skin was left in bad shape from using that toner, and even after several months I’ve had a persistent bumpy rash and dry, flaky skin. It has been absolutely terrible. I finally dug this cleanser out of my stash, hoping it would be able to gently cleanse my skin without causing further irritation. It worked like a dream, and I cannot recommend this cleanser highly enough to those of you with sensitive and/or damaged skin. After a week of steady use, the red bumpy rash has dissipated, and this cleanser is the ONLY thing that has made a measurable improvement to my skin. It’s truly amazing, and I am so glad I found it. The cleanser is milky and glycerin-y, very moisturizing, and doesn’t contain any irritants like dyes or fragrances. It leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. After I cleanse with this, I tone with pure rosewater and moisturize with Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer, and my skin has improved so dramatically from what it was. This is officially HG status!!!

This is your average, everyday face wash. It smells awesome (surprised by others saying it smells bad- I think it’s great) and it makes my face feel soft and refreshed. It’s not harsh like other face washes I’ve used. All around it’s a great product.

It’s a decent cleanser and cleanses fairly well. In contrary to its name, it doesn’t really foam up that well. I would describe its viscosity to be like like handwash liquid soap. The only thing I don’t like about it is the odour. It’s an artificial fragrance that reminds me of bathroom refresheners. I found this to be a common problem with some other Olay facial cleansers 🙁

It’s a decent face wash. It cleans my face well without making my skin dry. I like the pump packaging because it isn’t messy and gives you just the right amount of product. I do feel like it doesn’t really foam up as much as it should though.

I thought that buying an Olay facial cleanser would help remove my makeup and dirt, as well as leave my skin feeling clean. This was not the case with Olay’s foaming face wash – combination/oily.
Not only did this product do a terrible job at removing makeup and dirt, it left my skin feeling soapy. I literally felt like I had just washed my face with a generic bar soap. YIKES! This product is deceitful. It feels so smooth when you squirt a dap into your hands and even when you are washing, however, it left my skin feeling tight and filmy.
I suppose for the reasonably low price, these results could have been expected. I really never considered that Olay could produce such a low-end product. I will not recommend this product to anyone nor will I purchase it again.

A great basic everyday cleanser. It has a fresh scent and available in pump or squeeze top. It does feel that I need to rinse my face for a longer amount of time than other cleansers. However, due to my skin type, this cleanser did end up leaving my skin somewhat dry. This product is best for those with normal-to-oily skin (mine is more normal to dry). I still use the Olay hydrating fluid each night and the Complete during the day but will need to stick to a cream cleanser (Noxzema).

I usually really enjoy using Olay products, but this one didn’t do the trick. I have a few major problems with it. 1.) It didn’t take off my makeup well at all. If I use this face wash I have to use a makeup wipe first and THEN wash my face with this. Normally with other cleansers I can skip the makeup wipe, but if I try to do that with this cleanser, I end up with left over makeup on my face. 2.) Where are the suds?! It doesn’t foam up at all, and it has a glue-like consistency. 3.) Not only does it feel like glue, it also smells like it! Overall, I’m not impressed with this and it didn’t help to keep my face clear and blemish free at all. My face didn’t feel clean after using it. I’ll be trying other cleansers from now on.

Been using this product for years. Not only comes packaged in the pump bottle but the squeeze bottle. I have sensitive, oily acne prone skin and this works great on me. Removes every trace of dirt, oil and makeup without leaving me feeling dry. Even with using a toner afterwards there was no makeup left behind. Super gentle and foamy.
