*Size : Small Compact round edges and very easy to hold , does neither slip or fall when damp or wet.
*Power Source : 2AA battery cells.
*Rotary Brush : 2 are supplied , one is best kept for regular use the other for periods of sensitive skin.
*Effect : CVS rotary brush will revolve on your skin rapidly removing debris and taking off a layer , great , but how is that any different from a regular scrub? – combined with fine particulate of either zinc or bicarbonate of soda in either an oily or a deep cleansing paste – the results are nothing short of spectacular dermatologist done microderm.
Let’s not take take the microderm abrasion effect lightly – the entire upper epidermis will be sanded off , it will be raw , painful and and exquisitely sensitive.
*Result : Smooth silky incredibly soft skin ( a must have for fine skin texture fanatics).
Regular results are comparable to chemical peels or sustained use of tretinoin .
The catch is one has to use fine particulate abrasive agents that are exceptionally minute.
these will rotate under the brush and simply abrade (not exfoliate) the skin away.
*Comparability to expensive brands? : Rodan&Fields and the other hand held private microderm pens are a cut above the rest yes , but for this amount of money I’ll glad I didn’t go that route ( I have no acne , marks , spots and my skin smooth like glass , not a sign of the smallest wrinkle).
*Durability : Tough and sturdy , made to last , I dropped mined several times , not so much as a scratch
But CVS makes cheap copies of other higher ended brands , why should I buy this? : I didn’t plan to buy it for the EAXCT same reason , then I tried it and fell in love with it.
High ended brands do the same job except that CVS delivers for the same worth and longer lasting wear.
The ultimate function of a rotary brush is to abrade , brand has nothing to with it.
Drawback: Not for hardcore skin care addicts , those who can withstand considerable pain that comes with rotary abrasion will want higher faster rotation , this seems to be geared to the first timers , that way the addict has to spend more time to get the deeper amount of abrasion.
Worth buying? : Not really , the thing with dermabrasion is that it’s constantly changing , newer brushes hit the market every too soon , this is more or less outdated , the end word is that if regular scrub with walnut shell grains no longer do the trick for you , this is what you move onto.

I have NEVER written a review for anything ever. However, I am so in love with this product I feel that I really have to so more people can know how great it really is.
I have been wanting a clarisonic for a while but they were too pricey. So i found this in cvs and thought id give it a try. it was only about $20. i have been using it for about 3 days and i already see a DRAMATIC difference in the complexion and texture of my skin. I have been using it once in the morning and once at night before bed with cetaphil antibacterial bar soap. the acne on my cheeks (hormones) has literally completely cleared. The brush is perfect in terms of it being soft but still exfoliating. has 2 speeds and goes clockwise and counter clockwise.
Honestly, do nooootttt waste your money on a crazy expensive clarisonic or mio or any of those. this is just as good, if not better and for an 8th of a price. trust me! I am so happy i found this, i feel like my skin is incredibly cleaned after using this, which helps all the other products i may use on my skin work to their full potential. LOVE IT!

I absolutely love this! The first time I used it I had a little redness but after that no problems. My skin is much smoother & clearer since I started using it. I recommend sticking with the low setting, the 2nd seems to be too strong. I use this at night with Sephora foaming face wash. I imagine any face wash would work.
Definitely worth the price. I haven’t tried the more expensive versions that are out on the market. Frankly, I don’t see a need. This does what I expected & more.

Soooooo much cheaper (like $10 cheaper) than the Olay version plus they give you two heads instead of one AND the replacement heads are also like $5 cheaper than Olay too!!! The only downside is that you don’t get a cleanser like the Olay version but I have so many foaming cleansers in my arsenal that I want to use them up anyway. I just love this brush, I look forward to using it every day! I have a moderate case of rosacea so I’m careful about using this too much on my cheeks.
