I think these were good when I first starting using them but to be honest I was really looking for something I could quickly wipe my face with and with my dry skin I always opt for the exfoliating stuff. At first my skin felt nice and soft the texture is rough so I didn’t have to use added force but not too rough. But my mistake was using them everyday because I liked them so much. And I know you shouldn’t since you shouldn’t over exfoliate. I started to break out in dry places I usually exfoliate often with the wipes and this was about once every 2 days which is a lot. So I would recommend these but not for everyday use I don’t think the wipes themselves made me break out I believe it was over exfoliating. I didn’t experience the wipes drying out in the packaging so I thought that was good. And the price was decent for the package. But like I said I wouldn’t use it everyday: maybe every so often.

Great product, very exfoliating. I like how each side of the cloth has a different exfoliating texture. These are freshly scented which is very mild. The packaging is sub-par as these wipes tend to dry out unless stored in an airtight container. Overall, great product. give it a shot! Remember, these are intended to EXFOLIATE your skin, NOT intended for makeup removal.

These are just ok. I liked the idea of being able to exfoliate quickly in the morning without washing or getting extra clean before bed but these are too abrasive and don’t leave me with the freshness or glow of actually exfoliating. They are an unscented (which is nice) cloth with a waffle type of weave on them and the raised parts are meant to slough off dead skin but tbh they just made me mildly red and weren’t conditioning or calming, which I really look for in a wipe. I’d give it a lower rating if it didn’t basically get the job done, it doesn’t leave a residue and I do feel clean. These are also kind of expensive, and not good at taking of eye makeup as they are way too abrasive to use on your eyes.

I liked these wipes. I don’t wear much makeup, so cleaning that off was never an issue. These are rather rough, so you only need to apply gentle pressure. If you have a lot of makeup to take off, these might not be the wipes to use.
Pros: No scent, not oily, no film/residue left on skin afterwards, good exfoliation, no artificial perfumes or dyes, nice clean feeling after use.
Cons: A bit too rough to use every night and not the best wipe if your goal is makeup removal.

I really like these wipes. I feel they leave my face clean and soft, and on nights when I’m too tired or lazy to wash my face completely (unless I’m wearing a full face of makeup, in which case, a full wash is necessary), these do the trick. I usually follow up with a splash of water to rinse off any leftover impurities, but over all, these do a great job.
Also, about a month ago, I had a pretty bad string of breakouts that would not quit. These actually seemed to help clear the blemishes up. I noticed a major improvement after I started using these. Interestingly enough, clearing acne isn’t one of the claims that this product makes, but that was the only change in my routine that I can think of.
The packaging could use some work. I prefer the plastic snap-shut lid, rather than the flimsy film that has to reseal with the small amount of adhesive that’s on there. Inevitably, the adhesive will get wet from the wipes and will cease to work, which if not monitored, can cause the wipes to dry out. No matter – I just transfer them to a snap-shut case when I open the package. But it would be nice to not have to do that.
Still loving these wipes, despite the cheap packaging, and will continue to buy them as long as they continue to work for me.

The negative reviews are really tripping me out. These wipes are not meant to be a replacement for cleansing or make-up remover! I must not be getting the same product here in Canada or something. Maybe there’s a different formulation or packaging elsewhere, but I have no idea what everyone’s saying with the “roughness.” I find them refreshing, I like the minimal number of ingredients and the lack of smell.
I use these after boxing/kickboxing. I had noticed some clogged pores on my normally smooth forehead recently and realized it was probably due to the massive amount of sweat I had lingering on my skin. I have about 45 minutes of travel between the end of my workout and when I can get home and cleanse, so I use these to wipe off surface dirt and bacteria off my face, neck, upper chest and back area in the meantime. Works like a charm!

I am very suprised by all the negative reviews on these for being too “harsh”
1. they are exfoliating wipes. THEREFORE you need to exhibit VERY LITTLE pressure in order for these to do their thing. its not like sand paper where you use force when sanding an object. you just lightly go over your face and it will be exfoliated
2. I dont kno if they are different in each country but mine smell like NOTHING. these are absolutely 100% scent free.
3. I like them…they exfoliate. My skin feels very smooth today and I dont use a lot of force on my face when using them.
will buy again

Please note, this review is for the Simple Clear Skin oil balancing cleansing wipes which come in a pale blue pack. I do not – as a rule – use wipes, but I bought these for my teenage daughter. I was tired last night and my 9-year old started removing my make-up with one of these wipes while I dozed on the sofa. My face immediately stung badly and I had to stop her from wiping my entire face. This morning my face has puffed up on the side she applied the wipe to. I can be sensitive to cheaper products but I’m not hyper-sensitive so I’m surprised to have had such a nasty reaction. I’m not sure which ingredient has caused this reaction – possibly the methylparaben which I’ve just discovered is a common allergen – but please be very careful with these wipes!

These wipes are quite stiff and harsh on sensitive skin. Turns my skin red and it feels rough and hurts quite a bit. I don’t see a difference in exfoliating my skin, just makes it more sensitive and bumpy. The regular Simple wipes are way better and gentle.

I guess I don’t really get the point of these wipes. They’re supposed to be exfoliating, but I am supposed to use them as a cleanser? Do they moisturize? I can’t really tell. The experience of using them is akin to wiping a baby wipe across the face- I had a hard time enjoying it. As promised, they are scent-free. When I finished using the wipe my skin didn’t feel any softer or better, and I can’t really discern a great benefit.
