This was a pretty standard face wash. I wasn’t sure about it at first because it’s very heavily scented which I’m always cautious of because of my sensitive skin. It claims to be a rich creamy foam wash (which I agree with) that purifies without stripping the skin (which I don’t agree with so much). Although it didn’t strip my skin, I did have to be careful when using it. I couldn’t get it anywhere near my eyes as it would make them sting really badly. The same went for any breakouts that were healing – this would make them sting and feel sore afterwards. I also couldn’t use it morning and evening – as recommended – as the few times I did, I found my skin started to feel dehydrated and look dull (which is ironic as it’s supposed to have brightening properties).
Overall I didn’t mind this and finished using it, but there are other face washes I prefer way more than this one and for that reason, I wouldn’t repurchase it. It’s also pretty expensive at £12.00 for 125ml especially when it didn’t do anything outstanding for my skin.
