I’m head over heels for this cleanser. Truly! It’s unlike any foam cleanser I’ve ever used, and I’ve used pricier ones from La Prairie and La Mer. It doesn’t come out of the pump like the sort of thick foam cleansers that thin out with water do. After shaking, I pump twice into my palm and massage on my face- including my eye and mouth areas. It’s so incredibly lightweight that it feels like a soft cloud, one that’s able to remove makeup as well. It’s magical!
I understand the skeptics since I was one. Dr. Sturm is all over Instagram, etc. But this product is forever taking the place of my old foam cleansers. I actually look forward to washing my face using this. It is so light and not at all stripping. I can’t recommend it enough.

I cannot use this cleanser! It totally erupted my nose (rosacea sufferers will understand what I mean by that). I had little bumps and red nose forming. It made my skin ITCH all night! Annoying as hell to try to fall asleep. I used it two times. The first time I used it my skin burned, then I rinsed it off. The burn lingered on for an hour or so. The second night I used it I didn’t leave it on that long due to previous burning sensation so I washed it off after 10-15 seconds. Then the itchiness and annoyance started while I was trying to read and unwind in bed, like I do every night. So, I will no longer use this. I will either use it for my feet or give it away. La Mer is the only thing I can use on my rosacea skin. I love the Regenerating Serum, that really calms my face.

First off, this stuff is $$$$$$ expensive ($70.00) for 150ml. But, after two uses I’ve noticed my very oily, sensitive, breakout prone yet dry skin is calmer and less oily. Usually at the end of the day I have to wash my face twice to get the supergoop CC cream out of my pores (and sometimes twice isn’t enough). I also wake up super oily in the morning no matter what I put on my skin at night.
Last night I used this cleanser for the first time and immediately noticed (a) I only had to wash my face once and the CC cream was gone and my pores were clear, (b) the marula oil I use (very sparingly) soaked right in and (c) I woke up with no excess oil on my face! I also noticed that the few break out spots I had last night were almost gone this morning.
I washed my face with the cleanser again this morning and noticed my skin was not red at all and the moisturizer I used this morning soaked right in again.
I think I love this cleanser! I’m going to keep using it to see (a) how long $70 lasts and (b) if I continue to have good results. I am astounded how good my skin looks after two uses.
