it’s no big deal? i was introduced to this one by my ma, and she really liked it for her sensitive skin. i never really thought too much about it, as it just felt rather oily on my skin and made me feel like i had too much residue and gunk on my face and whatnot. that being said, i was reading the reviews on the product and maybe i really was using this wrong? if i ever come across this product again, i’ll give it another good shot. who knows what might happen then. :0

I was first introduced to this product by my mother and have been using it for years and years ever since I started wearing foundation.
I think it’s one of the better cream-based makeup removers out there (I tried the nivea one before –> half my makeup still stayed on), which does remove my foundation and/or concealer entirely from my face.
The key is to use TWO rounds to remove foundation completely. I use cotton pads with this to wipe foundation (wipe in circular motions) off my face, first time to get most of it off, and then a quick second time to get the few remaining stubborn traces.
NOTE: This should NOT be used as an eye makeup remover. Use oil-based waterproof eye removers to get eyeliner and mascara off easily, (unless otherwise stated for the brand of eyeliner). Using cream-based removers like this one will require you to rub at your eye area alot stronger than necessary, and will also probably irritate your eyes.

I think this has got so many bad reviews because people aren’t using it right!! I use this after using a facial wash in the shower to remove most of my makeup, and then use this on cotton wool pads all over my face. It really calms down my face after a shower as I have really sensitive skin and leaves it soft and smooth. It says it prepares face for moisturising and it really does, I rub the excess into my skin with my hands and then moisturise and my skin looks and feels amazing! I don’t know why this has got so many negative reviews it’s a really good product for the price, it doesn’t claim to be a makeup remover it claims to cleanse the skin, you need to remove your makeup beforehand. I like the bottle I think its attractive and enough comes out at a time. My only qualms are that it is a bit overpriced for a drugstore product however it is cheap compared to other similar high end products.

I am not sure about this product.It makes my skin really soft but it is too oily for my skin.

I was in the mall the other day and I bought this product on a whim, needing an emergency makeup remover that would fit my budget, and that would remove the foundation, concealer, eyeliner, and mascara that I had on.
High’s:
– It says “gentle” and it is indeed very gentle. It had gone inside my eyes but it didn’t sting nor made it uncomfortable whatsoever.
– Good enough in removing really light makeup or dirt.
– Smells wonderful
Mid’s:
– Packaging. It’s hygienic alright but the consistency of this cleansing milk is a bit too runny that after getting the intended amount, there would be a few spills here and there because you need tilt the bottle back and forth.
– Price. You get a decent amount of product that would probably last you for a good 2 months use depending on how much you use it and the frequency. BUT I don’t think it’s worthy enough to be regularly priced at around 8 dollars. I got it on a 35% sale so I had no complaints. But if it weren’t on a sale, I might not consider buying it.
Low’s:
– The ability to remove makeup well, particularly foundation set with powder, gel liners, and mascara.
– Not that effective in cleaning the face prior to washing it with a cleanser. I use this even when I’m not wearing makeup. I use this to get rid of all the impurities that have accumulated from my face due to pollution and sun exposure. Not quite good.
– Due to its greasy consistency on the face, the milk piles up on the face starting on you’re your second cotton pad. So you wouldn’t know if your face is already clean.
Overall, I think this is some makeup remover you should be wary about. Go for cleansing oils instead of this if you have the budget.

I think the quality has dropped for this product – it’s like they changed the formula or something. I started using this about two years ago upon the recommendation of a friend, and I liked it then as it was a very competent product for the drugstore price. Recent bottles I’ve bought seem a lot more diluted than before, and it no longer does a decent job of getting foundation off – even after scrubbing with the cotton pads. If there’s already a problem with foundation, what more with stubborn eye makeup, right? What happened?

I was curious to try this product after hearing good reviews about it, but had a hard time finding it locally. I finally got a bottle from an Ebay seller and tried it. I think the secret to this working is to first apply a small amount on your face, wipe it off with cotton pads and then finish removing it with a warm wet washcloth. I suspect that the reason why so many people complained about how greasy or heavy this cleansing milk felt after washing might be due to rinsing this off only without first wiping it off with cotton pads and then using a washcloth to remove the last traces of it. This extra step makes a huge difference in how well your skin feels after using it.
The first time I used it, I had first removed my makeup with a makeup remover wipe. I was surprised to find that when I went over the area with this cleansing milk, the cotton pads still had makeup on them. I applied some more of the cleansing milk and then wiped it off again with some cotton pads. The cleansing milk successfully finished removing my makeup. I followed with the warm wet washcloth and was done. This experiment was worth the time because my skin was left clean, smooth, soft and moisturized. I applied a little of Olay Active Hydrating Fluid Sensitive Skin (which has niacinimide in it and my skin does well with this) and my skin was soft and hydrated the morning after. The scent of the cleansing milk is light and goes away quickly. Having extremely sensitive skin, I’m not fond of products with fragrance and intentionally avoid them. So far, I have not experienced any irritation, itching or burning from use. So, I’m giving this 5 lippies for gentleness and cleansing effectiveness. Highly recommend!

I hate it, this stuff is more like a heavy cream than a Milk, doesn’t remove makeup that easily so I have to reapply over and over again till “almost” everything come off, needless to say that I always end up with an irritating skin, all red and **VERY** greasy, it leaves a shiny cast and the sensation is very tacky, I wont buy again

i just bought it today cos i’m trying to find smth that isnt oily because i think i’m allergic to all kinds of oil. from experience, i’m allergic to olive oil(VERY BADLY), coconut oil( in the long run), baby oil (within a week i get little bumps), caster oil(in 3 days i get bumps)…SO..i assumed that i’m allergic. so i bought this and used it and think it works great. the smell is alright..but after checking the ingredients on the internet…paraffinum liquidum means mineral oil, and parkii means shea butter freaks me out. i HOPE this doesnt ruin my skin! will update about this. //UPDATE//amazingly..this hasnt clogged up my pores. no pimples, no rashes, no bumps no nothing. just clean skin. one night i wiped my makeup off with this and went to bed right before i get to wash my face. in the morning my skin looked perfectly fine! i dont think i’m allergic to it. if it continues to give me great results, i may repurchase. //UPDATE// i still use this stuff! I definitely DID repurchase!
