Disclaimer: I’m not sure if this product is available in the US but it’s available in Singapore for SGD 28 (if I’m not mistaken) and I couldn’t find a review of this anywhere on makeup alley hence I’m creating one now.
I absolutely hated this product. I expected more from Crabtree & Evelyn. There are a million reasons to hate this product but here’s to list a few problems:
1) It stings my eyes like hella crazy. It hurt so bad I suffered from red eyes afterwards. I had to really flush my eye with water just to stop the pain and get that crap out of my eye. My eyes aren’t even that sensitive. It didn’t really remove much makeup either.
2) I tried using it to remove my liquid lipstick by colourpop (those ultra matte ones), having high hopes that oil will remove my matte lips well. Completely backfired when the product seeped into my mouth and tongue which tasted so horrible and it created a white liquid mixed with my saliva yucks! Again had to flush my tongue with water. It did remove most of the lipstick. However so not worth it.
3) In last hopes to find a positive outcome from this item, I attempted to remove the rest of my face makeup with this cleansing oil. It didn’t remove all of my makeup, there were still some residue. But worst part was my skin felt so oily and greasy I couldn’t take it. I know it’s a cleansing oil but holy crap it was literally flooding oil on my face. I just had to wipe it off again with a wet tissue.
Final verdict: I hope no one else had to suffer from this outrageously horrible product. Wish there was a way for me to get rid of it. But looks like I have to finish it to make my $28 worth.
