Quite an exceptional cleanser! I love this because it completely rids my face of oil and black heads.
I use this before my regular cleanser to get the days oil and grime off so that my skincare products will work more efficiently and I’ve seen a massive improvement in my skin. I can’t speak highly enough. The price is steep, especially if you get the large size, but the results and longevity make it worth the money.
Truly, I can’t stop talking about this cleanser. Acne is reduced, my face feels much cleaner and smooth. Also, the packaging is beautiful and modern.

I haven’t written a review on here for a while but I love this Cor silver soap and only wish I’d discovered it sooner.
If you still have problem skin in your 30s like I did (painful cystic acne on my chin & jawline) it’s really worth trying. I credit this product with helping me achieve my current bump free, pain free face. It didn’t work overnight but after only a few weeks of using it once per day, I saw a noticeable reduction in the formation of new bumps & blemishes. I still get the odd blemish, but no deep, painful, throbbing bumps like I used to. It also smells nice, feels soothing and leaves my face feeling fresh, soft & clean without being overly drying (bonus!)
After showering, I exfoliate with my Clarisonic plus MD formulations sensitive glycolic cleanser, rinse & then wash my face with Cor silver soap. I leave the lather on my face for 30 sec or so (I’ve tried leaving it longer but it starts to itch after a few minutes) and then rinse. I don’t have the time or patience for complicated skincare routines, so the simplicity of this soap is great. Wash & go.
Because it dissolves easily (and is expensive) careful handling is required to maximize the soap’s longevity. Here’s what I’ve found works best:
Sparingly wet your hands & turn off the tap. Gently rub the soap 2 or 3 times to form a thick, barely-wet paste-like lather. Put the soap aside & apply the paste to your face. Run a tiny bit more water onto one of your soap coated palms and then rub hands together to make more of a wet, bubbly foam & apply this directly onto your face. Wait 15-30 sec & then rinse.
The key is keeping the soap from getting too wet. Don’t lather the soap under running water, don’t leave it on the sink, don’t store it in a puddle and don’t take it into the shower (unless you have a shelf that stays completely dry).
Rather than using the whole bar at once, I use a sharp knife to carve off a slice that will last me for a few weeks and then keep the rest of the bar in its storage box. This also works perfectly for traveling – cut off a slice and leave the rest at home. (Who wants to lose or accidentally leave behind a $40 or $120 bar of soap in a hotel room?) A slice of soap weighs nothing, takes up no space & means one less liquid skincare product to fit in my “TSA approved” ziploc bag. I bought a small plastic pill box from the Container store to store my soap slice when traveling but I’ve also just wrapped a small piece in clingfilm. Either way, just be sure to let it dry before storing.
It is an expensive product but honestly saves me so much misery.
The larger bars are better value (on a cost per oz basis) but if you want to test if it works for you, you can pick up the travel size for $15. I did this twice before committing to a larger bar.

Heres the history of my face: I have had hormonal acne since I was in my mid 20’s, and im turning 37 now. It was pretty bad – cystic acne all over my chin and jawline. I tried Accutane, which was effective for 2 years but not without side effects, and my acne eventually came back. I’m using the clarisonic- that also kept my acne at bay for about 6 months, but my acne did come back after. I’ve tried many other expensive cleansers, like Sisley (about $90 for 8oz), cle de peau ($75 for 4oz) and a few others, but I kept getting acne.
I decided to try Cor after reading about it online with rave reviews. I knew it was expsensive (about $130 for 120g), but with the terrible skin I have, Im willing to splurge as long as it works. I’ve been using it for over a week now… and I haven’t had any new pimples!! It also has spf 15 and claims to reduce sunspots. It replaces toner, can be used as an exfoliant, and I think I read somewhere that also replaces a moisturizer though I feel more comfortable applying a moisturizer after.
When it first came in the mail, I could NOT believe that this little ball of soap cost so much money. but so far with the results, I am very impressed. Also, because it replaces toner and moisturizer, I think it is well worth the price.
Im just hoping my acne won’t come back, like it did with everything that I thought worked.

Well, gonna drop this rating a star because surprise surprise, my acne came back after a month of using this stuff. It’s still a good cleanser, be unfortunately not a miracle worker. still like the fact that I don’t need to use toner. looks barely used and it’s been almost 2 months that I’ve used it.

Expensive for what it is, but it is quite nice, made my skin feel soft and very clean. The trial size I got for about £10 and its lasted well over a month.
However my only issue is the Sodium Laurate in it, though I’d probably buy again if it was cheaper,
Because of this I think I’ll stick to my ‘Gamilla Secret Soap’

I have only just started using my Cor Soap, and am still trying to get my head around the hefty pricetag !! £35.00 + p&p. I purchased mine online from http://www.glowgetter.co.uk and it arrived in a large box (bit of overkill there) when I opened the box I found they could have fitted about 50 bars of soap in !!!
Anyway, I am expecting great things from this little guy and will keep you girls updated along the way (this is day two) So far the soap lathers nicely with little effort, doesn’t seem drying and rinses off just lovely. It’s been very effective at removing makeup, even mascara !! Just one application needed.
Early days though…..so watch this space 🙂

I’ve been using the trial size of Cor Soap for around a month now, I bought the medium size a few weeks ago, but my trial size is still going! My skin has definitely improved using this soap. It’s quite drying so make sure to use a moisturizer until your skin gets used to it.
It’s not a miracle, but its pretty close! My mild/moderate acne has calmed down, today I don’t even have any new spots, just healing ones. My actual skin seems brighter and healthier. I even think my pores are tighter. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving this a try if you have any skin problems, try the trial version, which is lasting me over a month and you’ll see the results.
It’s expensive. 14 for the trial size and I paid 40 for the medium size. However I already have stopped using a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer and just use this one soap. (I occasionally still use my moisturizer on dry days.) And at this rate, I’ll soon be able to stop buying foundation, so I think the price is worth it!
