This is one of the best cleansers I have ever used! I was hesitant to use a powder as I wasn’t sure if it would remain gritty when mixed with water, or if it would actually even be effective. It is very easy to use, just tip the contents of a sachet into your palm, mix with a few drops of water and apply to your face. There is a little bit of a lather, but it isn’t a soapy lather at all, and it doesn’t leave my dry/combination skin feeling stripped. Instead, it leaves my face feeling silky soft, brightened and amazingly clean.
I wear long-wear foundation and this takes of every single trace of it. I can’t believe how soft my skin feels afterwards. There’s hardly any fragrance, just the vaguest hint of brown rice.
The only downside to this face wash is that if you don’t mix it very well with water before applying to your face, you can end up breathing in the powder. However, this is easily fixed by wetting the powder more thoroughly before applying to your face (and holding your breath at first!).
I have terrible melasma on my forehead and upper cheeks, and this makes my skin look brighter (although it doesn’t fade melasma, my skin just generally looks healthier and more exfoliated) even with the melasma.
I would really recommend this for all skin types, even my chronically dry cheeks and forehead felt wonderful after washing with this product, and they are normally the first areas to show signs of tightness or flakiness. You get 25 sachets in a small container, I paid about $7.00 when on sale. Missha also sell a Green Tea version of this which I haven’t tried.
