I really need to be more consistent with reading labels especially when falling prey to “shiny objects syndrome” because if I knew this contained sodium laureth sulfate I wouldn’t have bought it. Aside from that, this is an interesting cleanser. It is black with gold flecks and has a thick gel consistency which foams up (obviously from the SLS) into a rich lather. I don’t use it daily because of the SLS but do use it once or twice a week and at this cadence do not feel it is drying on my skin, possibly because glycerin is the 3rd ingredient and that helps with keeping skin hydrated. I will use it up but not re-purchase. If you have oily skin and don’t mind sulfates in your cleansers, this is less than $10CAD for 300ml of product which is a good value.
