This lotion cleanser has not irritated my skin, despite the fact it has fragrance (in a product for rosacea skin!). However, it doesn’t work well as a cleanser. I need to follow up with a gel product – so double cleanse – to get rid of the greasy feel it leaves on the skin. I’ve definitely experienced better cleansing “milk” products. Won’t buy this again.

I don’t understand this product, it’s full of very strong fragrance yet it’s supposed to work great with rosacea and sensitive skin (???) – BUT fragrance is very bad with sensitive skin and rosacea. I don’t get this, my skin is so much worse and not happy. I think without the fragrance this would be good. Two lippues from me!
EDIT (February, 2017):
Ive been experiencing a lot of aggressive rosacea lately, and between all my products literally nothing worked and nothing could calm and soothe the burning redness in my face (not even my medical cream) – until I looked at this baby as the last option among my (many) products one morning after showering (yes my showers are not very warm, no im not letting the water come near my face, blahblahblah).
Anyways, this following program have become my regular routine every morning post shower: I spray my face with Avene Thermal Water (or La Roche-Posay), then two-three pumps with this cleansing cream that I massage into my face, then I leave it on for a minute before I spritz my face again with the Termal Water and use a cloth to swipe it off. Leaving it on like this soothes my skin a lot and reverse the insane redness I get by just taking an innocent shower like a normal human being.
This works amazingly well, and my views about this cleanser have changed a lot, I cant see myself stopping! I’m gonna change from two lippies to four lippies, I still dont understand the perfume part.

I already posted a review on the moisturizer in this line, but I wouldn’t recommend this product for anyone who has intolerant/sensitive or rosacea skin. This has fragrance in it which is a well known allergen, when I used this product in line with the lotion I got a rash all over my face and cheeks. The smell is nice and it seems like these products would work well for people with sensitive skin thats red and combination, but only somewhat sensitive if you know you have intolerant skin or any allergies stay away.

This is the most amazing product for rosacea. I’ve seen a major reduction in the redness in my skin since I started using it a couple months ago. It is a gentle, non-foaming formula that also effectively removes any make up. After I use it, my skin feels calm and I generally have an even skin tone now.
If you are going to get a product from Avene’s anti-redness line, I find this to be much more effective than the Anti-Redness Jour (Day) moisturizer, which is not that hydrating and pretty much just has a green tint to it.
TL;DR: hands down, the best cleanser I’ve ever used. A little above drugstore price, but not nearly as expensive as it could be.

This is the best makeup cleanser Ive tried! Its the best! It is definitely soothing, very gentle, not greasy at all when washed off and I don’t need to use another cleanser after this since the ingredients are non-comedogenic. The cleansing fluid is very smooth and feels great when I put it on. You only need one pump to cover your entire face. But I use another half pump just to make sure. I also use this under my chin area and it seems to help with reducing clogged pores there.
The price is slightly higher but you get a huge bottle 300ml. I will definitely be repurchasing this. I reccomend this for all skin types, even acne prone and oily skin.

I have oily/combination skin that is very sensitive to products. I get chronic redness across the centre of my face, redness from new products, and hot flushes when under stress. As a teen, I used to have mild rosacea, but my skin has gotten a lot better in the past several years and I no longer need prescriptive creams for it.
This milk cleanser is so refreshing and soothing for my skin. Regardless of whether I rinse off the product or not, my skin feels comfortable — not dry, not sticky. I use it morning and evening to take off LIGHT makeup. For heavy makeup or sunscreen, I use an oil cleanser.
MORNING ROUTINE:
With clean hands, I apply a generous blob over my dry face and really massage it in circles with my fingers. Then, little by little, I add water and continue to massage, ending with a splash of cold water to remove all product. Any redness in my face is temporarily gone! My face looks alert and feels fresh and soothed.
EVENING ROUTINE:
With clean hands, I apply a generous blob over my dry face and massage it in circles over my face, but not my eyes. I then take a couple of cotton pads to gently wipe off and remove the product. At this point, I will use my Bioderma micellar water to take off my eye makeup. I’ll then go for a double cleanse and use the Avene milk the same way as in the morning. There is no redness across my cheeks. My face feels cool and fresh to the touch.
I’ve already repurchased this, and foresee using this for as long as they make it! I think the key to getting the most out of this product is not only regular use, but to really massage it gently with your fingers. If you use a generous amount, there’s enough slip so that you’re not pulling or dragging at your skin. You’ll improve microcirculation in your face as well as give time for the actives in the product to penetrate your skin!

This cleans off my tinted moisturizer quite nicely and, in combination with Avene thermal water and this moisturizer from another brand that I like and have been using for a while (ultra repair cream from Sephora), it really helps keep redness at bay and makes my skin less reactive. I use it in the morning in the shower and at night to remove my tinted moisturizer.

So I found with in the past 2 years my skin has gone from combo to sensitive. I’ve recently started noticing I’m getting mild rosacia on my cheeks. So I decided to give this product a try. Boy what a huge mistake. With in a week not only did my rosacia get worse, this stuff made my whole face dry. it’s been about 3 weeks since I stopped using this and I’m still dealing with a bit of dryness around my cheeks.
