Purchased this a cheap travel or on the go option when I don’t want to worry about losing $50 foundation. Its sells for about $15 but purchased on clearance for about $7. Bought a perfect match 409 Honey for foundation and 411 Chestnut for contouring. I would never pay full price for this but in clearance or sale its a good value. There is a limited shade selection only 12 however found my perfect match which is a win for me. I did half my face with this and the other half with their upscale sister company Lancôme foundation stick 460W to test the quality difference. Lancôme stayed put 12+ hours. Both were a perfect match for my yellow undertones ,offer opaque coverage and were easy to blend. Loreal is greasy and shiny in the tube where Lancôme is Matte. Loreal begin to get oily through the day and wear off. However for the price its ok if you don’t mind touching up. Personally I prefer to do my make up once and be done with it.Which is why I can Not give up Lancôme.

Love this! #405 Sand/Sable is my perfect match, which I can’t remember the last time I found an actual foundation match – and at the drug store no less. I bought the Hourglass foundation stick in Beige recently as well. Applied with a densely packed foundation brush and buffed into skin, applying mostly in the T-zone over moisturizer. Looked SO natural. It wore this out at night – not sure what this would be like in the hot summer Texas days, though.

Oh, L’Oreal. Your Quik Stick was the best stick foundation ever. Why try this? This is no improvement. The colors are yellow and dark. It disappears within the hour. I want to return this, but I keep thinking another primer or powder will help? Can’t recommend, sorry.

I haven’t used a stick foundation in years because I don’t need or like heavy coverage. With all the new stick foundations on the market, I wanted to give them a try again and see if I could find one I like. I travel a lot and I don’t like to take liquids or creams that can potentially spill or glass bottles that can potentially break so this seemed like a great option and it is. I like the easy application and the fantastic coverage on this. I had trouble finding a shade to suit my skintone as I am fair so I used #402 Nude Beige. It was slightly too light and a little too yellow for my rosy undertones but the next shade up was too dark. I didn’t want to buy 2 of them just to make my own shade until I knew I even like the product. I don’t like using a powder with this as it makes it too heavy and I don’t like the unnatural “I have a lot of make up on” look. I tried using this without a powder but it tends to get patchy around the chin, nose, and where my glasses sit, it completely wore off so it needs a little something to keep it put in place. For that reason alone I will not repurchase this. It is a really nice foundation though and it goes on so smoothly. I applied it over a moisturizer and primer and just draw it on in stripes then I took a silicone beauty blender to work it in. It doesn’t really work in though, it mostly just sits on top of your skin. It does give fabulous coverage and the finish is beautiful. I really want to like this much more than I do. It’s a nice product and great for travel and what I was looking for, but I don’t like the patchiness and need something to stay in place especially on my nose and chin which are front and center in my face. This is a great product it just isn’t for me.
