Even though this book is written by Dr. Doris Day (NY Derm) it is more cosmetic than solid skin care advise. Her focus on sex was similar to something I would read in Cosmo. As if the fact my skin is NOT glowing has nothing to do with stress or age – I need more sex and everything will change. (Sex toy suggestions are offered.)
The full title is Beyond Beautiful: Using the Power of your Mind and Aesthetic Breakthroughs to Look Naturally Young and Radiant. Somehow this includes cosmetic procedures and positive thinking. Nothing wrong with cosmetic work (fillers) but I disagree with 20+ getting into Botox. The format is all over the place and serious skin issues such as eczema, seb. dermatitis receive a half page mention.
Cons – too many to list
Nothing of interest to me in the whole book.
The format/chapters makes it difficult to get to the information you need
How about solid product recommendations/suggestions. Specific information would be nice than “spf 30 daily”
