I purchased this scent in the three-wick candle, with the intention to use it on my candle warmer. It turns out that it fits my warmer perfectly, so that’s a plus!

Sun-Washed Citrus is a medium sweet orange-y lemon with a nice kick of grapefruit. I would like it more if it were more zesty and less sweet, but it’s certainly an approachable, probably universally agreeable citrus scent. The throw is insane; I can smell it throughout my apartment even before it’s completely melted.

Up until recently, you could get a good jar candle at the grocery store for $5 or so. Now they’re all ~$8, take several hours to melt, and have pitiful throw. I’d rather wait for a sale and spend $12.50 to get a high performing, beautiful smelling, quick melting, attractively designed BBW candle. They last for months, since I’m not actually burning them!

Listed fragrance notes for this candle include sugared lemon, mandarin, pineapple, & agave nectar. And the actual fragrance is just as advertised, sweet citrus with medium throw. I’ve burned it for several hours, and more than 75% is still left. It burns fairly cleanly as the majority of the candle comprises soy/vegetable-based wax rather than paraffin. Finally, the glass container is attractive and resembles a wicker basket.
