To me, Leaves is more than just an apple & clove scent. This is also not your typical cinnamon apple scent. A dark toffee apple with lots of non-burning cinnamon and clove, being eaten by a bonfire in the beginning days of October. It’s pure autumn in a candle. It conjures images of leaves on wet pavement, chimney smoke slowly slithering out of houses as summer has come to a complete close, cozy sweaters with a mug of hot spiced cider. I really love this. Glad I went with my husband’s suggestion for this one! Throw is strong and scents the whole house in a matter of minutes too.

This is a fall favorite that I make a point of buying every year. It smells so warm and really evokes the feeling of autumn. For some people it may be too strong but for me it’s perfect.

The first time I smelled Leaves I was instantly taken aback to warm childhood memories of the fall and Christmas season. The strongest notes are cinnamon and apple, and they combine in a way that is absolutely incredible. This is my favorite fall scent, EVER! It has an excellent throw and the scent is quite strong. I like this in a candle (when I light it I want everyone in the house to be able to smell it), but not everyone likes such a dominant scent. I would recommend to anyone who loves the smells of the fall season!
Although a bit pricey, they often have sales going on for their 3 wick candles, especially around the holidays.

This is a great fall candle that smells like apples and spice. I’m thankful it doesn’t actually smell like leaves because I had a candle from another brand that did smell like leaves, and it had a nasty earthy burnt smell to it.
The three-wick candle has great throw and burns evenly. And if you get it on sale, it’s a good deal.

This is too strong. It is so strong you can taste it. And I am a candle junkie. It’s very rare I say that. I’ve never said it about a BBW candle. I have tried over 30 or something. It’s just too much.

I’m really surprised this candle isn’t rated higher – it’s the iconic Autumn/Fall candle! It’s perfect to burn as soon as the cooler weather starts creeping in, as the scent is such a cosy, festive one that can be burned throughout the colder months. The name did put me off (I was worried it would smell earthy, from the name) but it’s a lovely, warm spiced apple and berry scent. I’m from the UK so the Bath & Body Works candles have a far better throw than anything sold over here, so this is one I will always have to hunt down on Ebay, or buy whilst on holiday.
My only complaint is that sometimes the throw can be a bit too strong from the large 3-wick candle, so I prefer to purchase the medium size if available – the perfect amount of scent for one room rather than the entire house.
I already have two of these on the go now it’s turned October, & will be sure to stock up on more when possible!

I first discovered this scent when I walked into my friend’s room and was hit with the most lovely fall scent ever. The candle wasn’t even lit. I now have the wallflower of this scent and it’s the most amazing fall/winter smell. I would not say that it smells like leaves at all but it definitely smells like classic fall spices. Will totally buy this scent again!

Ah, Leaves – I look forward to fall the way most people anticipate Christmas, so it’s a happy day for me when I pull out my fall fragrances and decorations. Leaves has been a staple (and symbol) of autumn for me since the fragrance debuted some five or six years ago.
What I love about it is that it’s a mixture of what I think are the best things about fall: the cool, crisp air; juicy, ripe apples at the peak of the season; the heady spice that comes with cider, pumpkins, and yes, leaves. I’m totally impressed that BBW managed to capture all of those scents in one product.
It’s fruitier than sweet cinnamon pumpkin, but it’s also more complex. Also, while I’d characterize sweet cinnamon pumpkin as a scent conveying warmth above all else, Leaves really conveys so much more: again, that crispness coupled with spice and warmth.
In spite of the fact that I live in Georgia, where the weather doesn’t start to cool until late September, on August 1st I haul out my Leaves products – candles, wallflowers, scented oil, and room spray – and fall miraculously comes early to our house. :o)

I love this scent! I think it smells like warm apple cider. I only have the candle, but I am getting the wallflowers soon. This is my favorite home scent! I love it!

This is definitely “fall” all wrapped up into a scent if you could imagine that. I like to use this in the B&BW Scentportables for the car and also in the Wallflowers for the house. This is an amazing, comforting smell that transports me to cool, autumn days. Love this stuff.

This IS the holidays. I love the candles and scented oil, and although the smell reminds me of autumn/Thanksgiving/winter/Christmas, I burn this scent all year round because it’s so delicious. It’s seasonal, so just go on eBay and stock up…totally worth it.

I happen to run into the scent Leaves at my friends house.. she had (last winter) stocked up on Leaves hand soap and every time I used it I would just absolutely love the scent! This winter I noticed they had brought it back.. Yay! I went out and bought the candle, room spray and oil warmer scent.. I had asked about the hand soap and was told no.. maybe later? I really hope so.. this is absolutely lovely..
However.. I don’t see how Leaves would work as a body spray/perfume.. doesn’t seem fitting..

BBW had 50% off on fall fragrances so I purchased the body mist and lotion. It does kinda smell more like a scent for a candle; However, I like it. It is a very warm apple cider scent.

I did not like the smell of this candle at all…it smells like regurgitated apples to me. Nothing even remotely close to leaves.

Fall is always my favourite season. It comes in a olive green glass jar. I must say the scent doesnt smell like leaves at all. Instead, it’s a warm scent like apple and spices and a hint of caramel. I lit it up with windows open and it scents up my entire apartment (3 wick candle). Love to purchase this again.

This smells like apple spice with a hint of musk. I wouldn’t call it my favorite fall scent but this was just ok. I definitely think BBW has better fall scents this season. The 3 wick candle I bought comes in a beautiful jar with a brass-like top. I will repurpose it for sure. As for the scent, it is nice but not as complex as I thought it would be. It smells like many other candles I have smelled before. It does have good throw in my opinion. It scented my whole apartment where I actually had to open a window a bit so that it wasn’t as strong. Hubby didn’t seem to mind it or complain about the scent so I guess that is a good thing. I will not repurchase however but will recommend trying it out at least in mini candle form.
