Chestnut & Clove 3-wick candle from bath and body works is my absolute favorite. It has a strong throw, you don’t have to burn it for long periods of time, it is amazing. I bought 3 last year and am hoping they sell it this year as well.

Chestnut and Clove earns a low score mainly because its throw is very weak. A 3-wick candle should have a strong output. It does produce some level of fragrance that I can detect, but I have to stop and focus on the faint scent in order to recognize the candle is burning after all. So, other than *that*, Chestnut and Clove does have a fine fragrance….but it’s not a gourmand candle. Main notes on the label are: Roasted Chestnut, Clove Buds, Pine, Cedarwood, Velvety Moss. Most dominant are the wood and moss notes made complex with a generous balance of chestnut and clove. Yes, this is a spiced WOODSY scent. It’s festive and welcoming, and this candle would be lovely burning during the holidays or for parties. But it lacks throw. Sadly, I returned it for that reason.
