I wasn’t expecting a candle to smell exactly like the description, but it truly brings back memories of eating homemade banana bread, fresh from the oven with warm spices and the freshly sliced bananas lingering in the air! Actually, its very similar to the very popular Cinnamon Sugared Donut but with extra fresh bananas thrown in. Yum.
A big sigh of relief for me is how the Nutmeg is given a delicate touch. I’ve found many BBW “cinnamon” candles too overpowering and almost chemical-like before. A couple were Pumpkin Cupcake and Cinnamon Caramel Swirl, which gave me a headache if I burnt them for more than an hour at a time. This spice is nothing like that. Its just enough of a hint of special something.
It took a while for me to burn this, as I loved the cold sniff so much, but I’m glad I did. The burn scent is strong and immediate, and lingers for several hours after its blown out. The wicks burnt well, with a good wax pool with a sunny yellow glow, no problems there. This delicious scent surprised me, and I’d very much love to have it again.

My favourite candle ever! I am not always a huge fan of candles, I find many smell like nothing but burnt to me but this one smells like delicious banana bread. The scent easily fills my entire main floor and drifts upstairs and downstairs a bit. I’ll be so sad when I finish this up. Wish I had bought extras.
Would repurchase.

Thank goodness I got this on sale. I didn’t get any throw from this candle. No scent what so ever. I’ve not been having any luck lately with BBW candles. I’ve had a few that just smelled burnt. Won’t be purchasing anymore.

This probably is not a scent I would have chosen for myself, but since it was a gift I decided to give it a try. Once lit I really enjoyed the scent. It smells exactly as the name indicates – banana bread pudding with a hint of nutmeg. This is the first B&BW 3 wick candle I have ever had and I have enjoyed it so much I purchased others at their clearance sale. It does have good throw and is definitely well scented but not over powering. Though I have not finished the candle it seems like it has a decent amount of burn time. This one comes in the standard glass candle container with a lid, so nothing fancy there. I like the fact that it makes my house smell like I am baking something yummy! My only negative is that I find the price tag of $22.50 a bit much for these candles. B&BW has quite a few sales during the year so that does make them a bit more affordable so if you like them stock up then. I would repurchase this one again.
