I prefer the original brow gel the tint can be a bit too intense. Also, I feel like this gel doesn’t have good staying power.

This product isn’t bad, but it’s just ok. There are alternatives that do a much better job, and cost less. An example would be glossier’s boy brow, which I find to be better because it adds a lot more color and volume. The abh brow gel just adds color, but not much else. Abh’s pomade is wonderful, but this is meh.

I switched it from Glossier boy brow because I heard all the good reviews on this. But this is so much worse than boy brow. First of all, the wand is huge. I have fairly thick brows but it still gets on my skin no matter how careful I am. Secondly, the product is crunchy. I tried to use boy brow’s wand on this but the product just stays on the hair without making it smoother or more natural.
I would like to throw it away but it’s not cheap.

I am a junkie for a good brow gel and since I have very black hair, it is somewhat dangerous to work with a “tinted” formula.
Being a fan of the original clear version, I thought to give this one a go and I must say that it is quite a lovely product to use. The tint has got some shimmer in it, but it never looks obviously sparkly or Christmassy on your brows. As a matter of fact it makes them look that tiny bit “natural” and wet, as opposed to a very matte finish.
I find that some shades and their names can be misleading. Like the shade Brunette is actually best for someone with a brown/blonde hair etc. You can read more about application and wear aspects in a separate review here ( ). Overall I am quite pleased with this product, it does hold my brows in place almost all day long, but I still prefer the clear version.

I love this stuff!!!! I have medium-dark brown hair and use granite – it is a nice cool brown without being too dark. I found that some of the other browns were a bit too warm for my hair. I like to use it to set after using other product to fill in my brows OR to fill in my brows in one quick step if I’m in a rush.
If you have already filled in your brows this product takes literally 2 seconds to put overtop to secure everything.
If you are using it alone to fill in and set your brows it takes more like 3 seconds because I usually use the brush to fill in my brows and then use a q-tip to remove where I’ve overdrawn and the brush isn’t super precise.
It lasts allllll day even in wet conditions. It doesn’t make your brows feel super stiff either. This is a HG product for me!

The product is ok… My biggest issue is how big the wand is!!! It’s huge! I have fairly thick brows, and no matter how careful I am it gets on my skin. I can’t imagine if you had brows on the thinner side. Not worth the price, would not recommend.

I am a strawberry blonde with super-blonde lashes and brows. I’ve tried any number of brow pencils, pomades, etc., to give my brows a little color and they always look fake on me. The only ones that have ever worked are Blinc’s eyebrow mousse in medium blonde and THIS. It gives me just enough color to make me look finished, without making my brows look fake or painted/drawn on. The trick, for me, is to use a swipe or two of this on each brow, then go back over each brow with a plain spoolie brush. This gives them shape and great color. Even in bright, bright sunlight, my brows look natural and stay put. BIG thumbs up for me! I thought the color would be too dark for me, but figured it was worth a $6 gamble. So glad I bought it! The color is great for me.

For $6 you can’t do better for a brow gel. I have light brown hair and the color works great for me. Don’t be put off by the terrible reviews on here – I wear it daily and get compliments on my brows all the time!

I love this now, but I didn’t at first. My eyebrows are fading and thinning – because of my age and the overplucking I did when I was younger (could kick myself for that now). I was filling in with pencil or the Kashuk wax pallet, but it didn’t really do the trick. Picked this up at Target. The color was perfect for me, but the spoolie held way too much product. Even when I wiped the excess off, it went on gloppy. So I tossed it in with my other makeup & forgot about it for months, till I needed to fill in & everything was the wrong color. So out the tube came, and this time I made it work. The trick is to scrape ALL the excess off, literally most of the product. Then apply very sparingly. If it looks too dark or clumpy, I wait till it dries and brush my brows till it evens out. I LOVE the look now. It just took some patience to learn how to apply it. The price is great compared to trendy brands. I’d have to say this is the one product I would want to take to the hospital if I had to stay for awhile (God forbid). It’s become that necessary.

This is just… meh.
I bought it at target in canada because it was 50% off as target is closing here.
I wanted to use this as a last step on my eyebrows so to put my eyebrows in place and fill them in a bit more after I’ve shaped them with my brow pencil.
This gel isn’t very good… I’ve used the gimme brow from benefit and I really really liked it but I cannot justify the price.
I will use this product up, I can make do with it but I for sure would not buy this again.

This is crap imo. Its so grey and comes in one color. I have very dark hair and this just looks like I have greys in my eyebrows.
Messy product with a bad wiper in the neck of the tube. The brow “gel” globs and is thick. It resembles mascara more than a brow gel. I think you could get the same look with a mascara with holding power too lol. This isn’t it though. Save your cash.

This is the most useless product. The spooly brush it comes with, first of all, is a really weird shape. It’s all fat towards the wand and get thinner towards the tip. Which is awesome, if you want creepy, inverted brows. The color is a dead-mouse brown, and it just sits in your brow, until you try combing it in with that weird brush, and suddenly, the middle of your brow is way thicker than the edges. ATTRACTIVE. If anything, it maybe does keep my brows fractionally stiffer so that the longer hairs aren’t falling out of line, but it’s hardly noticeable, if so.

I’m not sure why there aren’t a lot of reviews on this, but this is mine.
I bought this because I was close to finishing my Benefit Gimme Brow, and wanted something to replace it that wouldn’t be as expensive.
Before using Gimme Brow, I had previously been using the Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel.
I was hoping this would be a similar product to the Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel.
It is not at all like the Anastasia gel.
In the packaging the taupey brown color looked great, but once I got it on, the color was more gray than I hoped. I didn’t mind this because I actually prefer cool toned brows, and so many medium/dark brown brow products have red undertones, which look stronger on me because I have yellow undertones to my skin and am very fair.
I believe this is the only shade this product comes in.
The problem I have with this product is the formula and the packaging.
The formula is very wet and very thin.
Also, when you pull the wand out of the tube, WAY too much product comes out the wand.
And consequently, when you put the wand back in the tube, the excess gel squeezes off of the wand and has a hard time fitting back in the tube.
The thin, wet formula makes a MESS because the wand holds so much product, that it’s impossible to get the product distributed evenly without over doing it.
If I get too much product on my brow it gets crunchy and pills up on my skin.
I didn’t return this because I threw away the packaging.
I also tried using this product with my Gimme Brow brush, thinking the wand was the problem, but the formula is just so thin and wet, that it’s really hard to shape your brows with this.
Because you lose product every time you put the wand back in, I noticed a little more than 1/4 of the product was gone after about a week.

I am 65 and have white hair in my eyebrows that is very difficult to cover. I do tint them occasionally, but it does not last long. I have needed a brow gel that would cover, but since I am a blonde, they are mostly too dark. I think this one has the right amount of coverage, and the color is not too dark, it still needs a little pencil to make it look neat, and to help with shading, but its a start.

This is a great product to change the color of your eyebrows. It has the most pigment out of all the brands I’ve tried and really conceals grey hairs. The colors are a little strange and it would be nice if they made more shades that didn’t have the sparkles in them. I also don’t like the stiffness that it leaves your eyebrows. Overall I prefer the one from Urban Decay since it has a very soft hold and it has extremely natural non glittery shades. The one thing I do prefer about this one is it really has a lot of pigment and can completely change the color of your eyebrows if you need/want it to.

I bought this brow gel in chocolate after I over-bleached my eyebrows and they went from black to orange. This was the only thing that saved me. Grateful for this product and would definitely buy this again.

Auburn: Well I have a love-hate relationship with this product. As many reviews state, it’s crunchy, the brush is huge and wastefully dispenses too much product. In addition, I also find that its not good for actually grooming the brows, so I have to go back in with a spoolie to do that and the product then gets a weird balled up texture sometimes, it just looks gross.
However, I’ve found my way around these issues and with a careful hand I am *mostly* able to avoid them. If its a special makeup occasion I will even take tissue and wipe off the end of the brush first and that delivers great results, albeit extremely wasteful :(. My hair is dyed a very dark violet red color while my natural/brow color is blonde and Anastasia’s products are the only ones that supply a color for a perfect match. Also, this stuff really does last all day, it’s bullet proof like practically all of her products and I appreciate that. I’m able to swipe this on pretty quickly for “no makeup” days when I’m in a hurry, but still need to darken my brows so they’re not non-exsistant. Lastly, although this product is priced $22(+/-) and is totally wasteful, it has lasted me forever and I use it literally every single day. I’ve had it about 7-8 months. Sooo…. my conclusion is I absolutely will replace it when its gone, even though I give it sideways glances on my counter and curse it when its acting up lol.

For $6, this will work for some, mainly beginnners. Personally, I think the Anastasia or MAC brow gels are worth the splurge! This gel only comes in one shade and with my soft black hair, the taupe colour was not the best against my hair shade. The staying power was decent and it seemed to hold my hairs in place for the most part. However the gel did make my brows a bit ‘crusty’.

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel (which can run you an outrageous $22) and found this one by Sonia Kashuk for $6 at Target. Win!
There’s a good amount of product and the coverage is nice, enough that I don’t need to also use an eyebrow pencil. The hold isn’t strong, but enough to keep my eyebrow hairs in place throughout the day. Just don’t mess with them!
There are a couple of downsides though. There’s only one available color. It’s a medium brown taupe color, which works perfectly for my dark brown hair, but wouldn’t work for people with really light or black hair. Also, the brush applicator is huge. I actually transfer the product to a smaller brush wand I have and apply it with that, so as not to get brown gel on my eyelids.
