For NC50 brown skin this product is crap. Goes on like a dry crayon. Doesn’t blend. Broke the first time used. Color is all wrong.

I bought this on a whim from the 75 percent off bin at my local CVS. I actually really really like the product, the brow pencil works really well and the color (taupe) is great for me. The highlighter stick is also really pretty and gives a great, subtle sheen. That being said, the packaging is so terrible that I don’t know if I would buy this again, unless I could find it in the bargain bin. Every time I use it both ends get stuck in the caps and o have to fish them out. Then they usually fall on the floor and I have to stick them back in the tube before using it. I also think Nyx “gets” you by putting barely any product in the packaging. There products aren’t that cheap if you are getting only half the product as the more expensive brands.

For the price? This is awesome. For anyone with dark brows the ash brown color is is natural and easy to apply. It’s actually ashy and not at all warm which is nice for a brow product. You get a little highlighter to put on your brow bone which is nice. I use it on the inner corner of my eye as well. Good job NYX.

Packaging not so great. Have used it 3 times and the highlight stick has fallen out once. The highlight stick is too fat and is very white. Maybe the twist up pencils are just not for me.

I bought this in a pinch while traveling because I forgot my go-to Urban Decay Brow Beater. This may just replace it! It’s so much more affordable, and it lasts all day. I like the thickness and the waxy-ish texture of it. I feel like this is a good ‘beginner’ eyebrow pencil. It fills sparse brows in nicely without having to be super detailed.
I don’t really use the highlight part much – I bought it primarily for the brow pencil itself. The highlight takes a bit of blending to look nice, but it has a nice subtle shimmer to it.

Firstly the product is rather pricey but of course cheaper than Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencil. I love ABH it’s just perfect but it’s little and expensive. So I don’t mind trying something cheaper.
I bought Nyx brow on impulse because of the highlight actually instead of using a concealer to highlight.
I use ABH pencil to mark my brow then I use the Nyx (medium) to fill up. It’s thick and creamy but I use it very lightly. It’s a bit dark but I use Nyx brow tinted brow gel afterwards so it’s perfect.
But when I wanted to use the highlighter it broke almost immediately! It comes with a sharpener so I sharpen it up and highlight under my brow. It’s creamy! Today I wanted to use it without adding any powder highlighter and now after 12 hours. My brow stays so as the highlighter!
Honestly I am considering to get the light colour and I would definitely recommend if anyone doesn’t mind a bit work and time doing the brow. Or else this might not be a good buy.

I really am liking this stuff! I have sparse brows and so I don’t mind that the pencil is thicker because it fills them in with ease and looks natural. It sticks well to my oily skin without smudging. Usually I use this then the NYX retractable brow pencil to fill in the front and smaller areas and brush them out, as this has no spoolie. I only don’t like that the highlighter end constantly falls out but it must have broken, otherwise love!
As a side note, I can compare it to Anastasia brow definer, I found this
to be a cheaper alternative with a better formula. I hated ABs thick pencil and smudgy formula.

I was hoping to buy the micro brow pencil from NYX, but they were out so I settled on this.
The pencil side is very thick and hard to apply precisely to define your brows. The pigmentation is not great and you have press and apply multiple times to get color. It does the job, but I would not repurchase. The anastasia brow wiz is a much better option.
The highlight side is terrible. Chalky and a weird creamy white color. It looks and feels weird.
Would not recommend this if you are hoping for something pigmented and precise. Pretty expensive for the level of quality ($10)

After a horrific eyebrow job, I needed a quick fix to my brows and found that this product did the trick for me. The pencil itself was a little too thick for me, however I was able to adjust the amount coming out for fear of breaking it. When applied lightly, I was able to shape my eyebrows without too much fuss and I was able to get my eyebrows back to normal for the time being. I especially liked that it is compact, with the highlighter on the other side, making it easy for me to take with me on the run. Despite the product not lasting that long for me, the variety of colors available enabled me to pick the right shade for my eyebrows. I knocked down a lippie because I wished that they added more variation of the highlight available outside of the beige spectrum.
