I ordered it in Blonde. I really like the color since it fills my very blond eyebrows without being too dark. The triangle shape helps to be done quickly while still allows to draw thin lines when needed. I completely forgot about the sponge part until I was finished with the pencil. It dispenses powder of the same color so it may be used to fill in bigger areas and the pencil can follow later for more detailed work. I am very happy with the purchase despite the price being higher the usual.

I ordered this in light brown, because it looked warm-toned enough to play well with my reddish/auburn hair. I was wrong. It’s not warm toned – it’s straight up orange! I don’t think it could look good on anyone, not even on someone with fiery ginger hair. I can also say that I don’t understand the benefit of the triangle shaped brow pencils that brands insist on coming out with after Anastasia Beverly Hills did. Maybe if you have very, very thick brows. Formula wise, it’s a bit too soft; there’s a definite risk of sharpie brows. I generally prefer using a softer formula eyebrow pencil with a light hand to using a stiffer one and having to struggle to get any payoff at all (NYX micro brow, looking at you), but this is too soft even for me.
The blender is incredibly weird. The sponge is saturated with colour and doesn’t blend as much as it just unevenly disposes a bunch of additional pigment and makes it look like you’ve tried to do your brows in the dark. With a felt pen. Since they call it a blender, I thought it could be good for fading out the inner part of the brow. Instead it just adds more pigment, rather than blending what’s already there. Obviously the opposite of what you want. It’s wet, but it’s also crumbly from where the excess colour has dried on the sponge.

+ If you like a really soft brow pencil and don’t mind the triangle shape, it’s alright (but then you can probably just go with the Now Brow Pencil and Brush duo instead, since I’m guessing it’s the same formula)
– How you can label an orange shade Light Brown is beyond me. Even if it had been labelled Auburn it would’ve been a terrible shade
– Since the blender is absolute sh*t, the need for a spoolie is even greater than usual. Of course, there isn’t one
– The formula of the pencil is too soft
– Absolutely not worth what I spent on it (129SEK, approx. $16)
