I’m throwing this out, and I hardly ever throw a product away. I was so disappointed by the inconsistency of this. I bought it twice in a row and loved it. I used both of them up and bought a third. However, this one was so hard that I couldn’t even get it to apply. I was ripping out brows trying to get it to work and the area became irritated from how sharp and scratchy the pencil was. I read some reviews that others had the same problem. The first couple pencils were so nice. I’ve switched to the L’Oreal 3-in-1 Brow Artist and really like it so far.
I won’t be buying this product again. I don’t want to risk getting another bad pencil.

I’m using my 4th pencil already, and I’ve got 4 stocked up. Absolutely love how natural the color is and it’s so easy to draw because of its petite size. I’m also able to draw very finely because of the fine tip. I used to love the NYX pencil but after I used this I’ve never tried anything else! Only downside is that there’s no spoolie so I gotta use my own spoolie. But for the price point, I’m not complaining. Great to stock up on when you visit Japan 🙂

Pros:
-Sleek and minimal packaging
-Thin lead (similar to ABH brow wiz)
-Quite inexpensive (Japanese drugstore product)
– Relatively good shade range (but would benefit from a larger range of dark browns since even BR-2 is practically a light, slightly ashy brown)
Cons:
– Too difficult and very time consuming to use due to waxy texture
– Hard to get even colours on your brows (since its so difficult to apply)
– Doesn’t have a spoolie and lid
– Very little product inside (especially since this is so waxy, you have to use a lot every time)

This is probably the best eyebrow pencil I have ever used! I got it in a drug store in Korea just cause I needed one for my trip there and I have been using it EVERYDAY. It’s very light so when it fills in your brows, it doesn’t feel like you’re using eyeliner. It looks very natural. I got the dark brown one and I’m SO HAPPY with it! I’m definitely gonna look for this in Manila and hopefully I can cause it’s the best! I still use brow gel after but it makes for a good base! I got it for 9,000 Korean won! So cheap!

love this eyebrow pencil!!! got the shade br-3 and it’s the perfect brow shade for me!!:-) it has the finest tip and it’s retractable. you can fill in sparce areas of your eyebrows without it looking drawn on because it is just so perfect!!! the pencil is hard enough to not make you look like your eyebrows are melting. hahaha!!! this is like the hard 9 seal brown of shu in a retractable form. pure awesomeness!!!:-) lovely product!!!!!

I’ve been using Mac’s spike for years and decided to try a drugstore brow pencil for a change. I’m looking for a twist up brow pencil with a fine lead, to replace spike.
Kate’s brow pencil has a harder and slightly finer lead. It comes in many shades, got it in BR-3, its perfect for me (I have black hair and needed a darker brow pencil). Absolutely love it, its inexpensive, easy to use, stays all day, love the fine tip. It twists up and retracts, unlike Mac’s which only goes one way – up.Mac’s spike is slightly softer, while Kate’s is dryer and harder. This does feel slightly uncomfortable when applying – this is the only downside for me.
