For your reference I am an NC-25, with yellow undertones. The colour that I bought was 02 Khaki Grey.
Product/packaging : Very secure plastic packaging, lid is not flimsy and it clicks into place very nicely when you close it. Small enough to fit in my hand (6cmx4.5cm) and is slim/thin too. You get 2 shades (one lighter, one darker) in 2 separate pans. Right below that is tiny angled brush and a tiny spooly. There is also a mirror on the top half of the cover.
Price/Availability: I bought it for around MYR30 (USD7) in Malaysia a while back. You get 4g/ 0.14 oz of product. Very affordable in my opinion and has lasted me for a long time. Can be found in all The Face Shop outlets (not sure if it is still available today).
Formula – Of course it is a powder but it doesn’t fly everywhere and it is not a very loose kind of powder. Very compact and stays in its tin. Lasts me all day even in hot/humid weather and when I am constantly touching my face. You do have to build up the colour though. The lighter shade is kind of useless in my opinion (I almost never touch it). The darker shade however is the perfect match for my eyebrows (super dark hairs). The colour builds up nicely and I think you have more control of how dark you want to shade your eyebrows that way. It does not smudge onto my hands after I applied it not does it flake or leave residue on my face. However, because it is a powder and is not super duper pigmented, it gives a more natural look. So for those who want a very dark, precise eyebrow shape should probably not get this product.
Colour – I think 02 Khaki Grey is a great match for people with dark brown/black hair like me. However, they have only released 2 shades (the other is 01 Beige Brown). Those with hair colour lighter than a medium brown or is a shade of anything other than brown should stay away from this.
Overall – I am quite satisfied with this product. It has done me well and it’s so compact that I can just throw it into my bag and bring it with me for touch-ups. I suggest that you get a separate, better angled brush for a better application. Definitely give this a try if you are on a budget, or just starting out with makeup.
