I absolutely agree with the first reviewer. this is the first eyebrow mascara I ever tried and I got it in cocoa as well. it was an interesting experience using at the first time however I felt that it made my brow colour look unnatural and as if its like golden monkey fur. it just has an copper shade which looks really weird instead of the beautiful jap brows I had imagined. I tried to use a few times before tossing away. its one of my regret buys.

I’m a cosplayer, and I frequently have to change my eyebrow color to match my wig. Unfortunately, my eyebrows are very dark and thick, so I have a hard time lightening them. I’ve tried concealer with eyeshadow, but my eyebrows will not cooperate. I decided to give this Eyebrow Mascara in the lightest shade, Milk Tea, a try, since I absolutely loved Dolly Wink’s liquid eyeliner.
It definitely lightens my brows a lot more effectively than concealer, but it still isn’t as light as I’d like it, or as the packaging makes it seem. I’m sure this product would work really well for people with thinner or lighter brows, but I’m sadly cursed with very full and dark brows.
Perhaps putting concealer over my brows after using this mascara will do the trick? It’s a really good product that lasts long, but for my brows, it isn’t enough.

Love his product! The Dolly Wink line from Koji was created by Tsubasa Masuwaka for people wanting a more dramatic look, from eyelashes and eyeshadow to eyebrow mascara. This brow mascara is aimed towards the lighter-haired, and it works perfectly for me with my copper red-brown hair. I’ve tried many brow products and they just didn’t please me since my brows are very dark brown and don’t come close to matching my hair without brow mascara.
As most gyaru or dramatic look lovers, I can’t resist this. Koji’s motto is “The eyes are the windows to the soul” so everything centers on making the eyes pop. The slight metallic look from the mica in this brightens and opens up the eye area. Milk Tea is a light brown with golden copper, working very well for redheads. It’s so difficult to find eyebrow products to suit red-toned hair! Frustration no more with this.
The packaging is as expected with a mascara, a tube with a cap wand small enough to do detail work in the small brow area. The tube is clear to see the amount and true color of the product. The price is a little higher with it being imported from Japan, but it’s still reasonable for a mid-high end product comparable to Stila and Tarte.
The texture is less think than matte mascaras and spreads and coats well. I brush the product on my brows upwards and slightly backwards to coat the hair before brushing them into submission. I also use the tip of the brush to detail in the blank patches of skin instead of using a brow pencil, which works very well for me. I sometimes apply it after using a slightly darker brow pencil and it works well for that as well and doesn’t smudge the liner underneath. Any cleanup is a breeze since I always use a tiny concealer brush to sharpen the edges. I usually use a light dusting of correction powder or HD setting powder on my whole face, including my brows to finish my look.
This was my first brow mascara purchase and I would definitely buy this again. I’ve tried quite a few brands before buying and wasn’t as impressed with the color selection. Tarte came closest of the western brands and Anastasia worked well but the finish made my eyebrows look droopy and sunken and didn’t work well with my hooded eyelids.

Wow, this product would have received a -5- rating from me if not for one glaringly obvious issue…
When I first started using this brow mascara, I immediately noticed what a great shape my brows were getting. It made my brows look spectacular in shape! Moreover, it was so easy to apply! The directions state to first go backwards against the brows (I never thought to do that before) and then swipe in the direction that the hairs grow. My brows were looking so good, so natural and full… but that was two feet away from the mirror. On closer inspection…
I have this in color #3, Cocoa. The darkest shade they offer. I have straight, black Asian hair. Therefore, in a very unfortunate turn of events, this otherwise amazing product shows up a metallic copper color on my brows! I don’t regard having shiny tinsel eyebrows is a very natural look. I normally use a brown brow powder and top with gel, so I do honestly prefer a slightly glossy lighter brow. However, these results are absurd. I will say, however, that this product would be phenomenal on someone with auburn/chestnut hair. I desperately looked online to see if Dolly Wink offers a darker shade, but they don’t. It’s such a shame to toss this easy-to-use product aside, but I just can’t walk around with Elmo’s fur on my face.
