It does not STAY on. This is kind of like cream-to-powder or gel-to-powder. If you make a mistake it’s VERY easy to rub it off.
Impossible to apply precisely. I couldn’t do hair-like strokes but that’s kind of my fault that I missed how chubby the tip of this pencil is.

This is nicely pigmented and its very long wearing. Looks great AFTER you brush the spoolie through. You have to apply a little, spoolie through, apply a little more, and spoolie through. The tip shape is not my favorite, but if I stick to mainly defining the upper outline of the brow and then a bit below that, and then spoolie through it looks good. If I try to define the bottom and spoolie upwards instead, or start at the beggining, or fill all the way through, it looks crazy.
Basically, this is better for people that have a good brow shape and just want to fill in their brows. Theres no precision and the product is quite waxy so you cant create a new shape unless you grab a brush to move the product around. I like it, but I will purchase something a bit thinner and less waxy next time. There’s a lot of trash eyebrow pencils out there, so Im giving this an above average rating, but not 5, because its not perfect: its a bit too wide, its a bit too waxy. Workable though.

So I’ve been on the hunt for a good dupe for my favorite eyebrow pencil, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow definer. The ultra thin application is amazing because you can easily fill in sparse places while looking natural. I love it. I decided to give this a shot after comparing to other products at the grocery store. I used to buy Revlon Color Stay Eyeliner all the time so I figured this might be pretty good, too. I must say, the applicator for the Revlon Color Stay Brow Pencil is a tad thick. Be careful while applying this, it melts into your skin, which is great. However, it means that a lot of product comes off so be sure to put this on lightly to avoid looking too severe.
Had to take off a star due to the thicker pencil! If it were thinner I would definitely buy again.

I gotta show this thing some love. The texture is ideal- good and waxy, but dry, so it won’t slide off… it lives up to the Colorstay name. The slant tip actually works to help create clean lines, and stays miraculously in shape for the life of the pencil. I’m repurchasing now!

I’ve been using this off and on for a while, even though it’s not my ideal product. The color payoff and staying power are great, and the brush helps blend the product. The texture is waxy but in a good way — it makes it stick and not smudge. However, this breaks REALLY easily. Little nubs of the product break off and there’s just not all that much product to begin with. The price point is low & you can grab it at the grocery store in a pinch.

I bought this pencil in Blonde after my HG brow pencil was discontinued.
Pro:
Formula/texture – soft enough to make it easy to “draw” with and doesn’t drag skin or brow hairs; hard enough to actually show up; not waxy or sticky.
Lasting power – stays long past an 8 hour day without smearing or fading.
Style – automatic pencil doesn’t need sharpening
Eh:
Brow brush – the other end is a spoolie style brush. It’s a good spoolie (soft, big) but I prefer more of a flat brush style for brows.
Con:
Combination of pigmentation + thickness = severe brows
If you like a strong brow look, you might love this pencil. I’m a primary teacher with naturally square arches so if I have too strong of a brow, I look mean! The blonde shade is just a tad darker than a dark neutral blonde (though with zero redness/warmth like a many other brow pencils to varied results) and while I am a light brunette, the depth of color and great pigmentation made my brows quite dark. Combined with the thickness of the brow pencil – it’s no micro – it really made my eyebrows look severe.
End result: Has lots going for it, but a no-go for those (like me) who want a softer brow look.

I am loving this brow pencil. Purchased in the shade Soft Brown, I needed something waterproof quickly and took a chance on it. A two sided mechanical pencil, color on one side brow spoolie on the other, quite basic. I did not like it upon initial application at all as the pencil is thick, unlike my usual preferred ABH brow wiz. Plus, the color appeared lighter than my ABH brow wiz in medium brown and seemed to have a reddish tint.. But anyway..
Glides on easily, even a little waxy, but then it dries down. Interesting! The shade loses its reddish tint and deepens a bit, and it stays put. I have a wide gap between my inner brows, my tail is fine. But to bring together the brow gap a bit I am faking brow on skin so I need a really natural look. Somehow once set this is perfectly natural looking.
Lasts through a workday, lasts getting splashed in a pool though perhaps not true swimming, lasts when accidently rubbed. Worth a try.
