So I’m -finally- growing out my early-2000s brows, and I desperately needed a product that mimicked my sparse-yet-coarse hair to fill in the gaps during this awful year. This is the best product I’ve found. It looks 100% natural, and the brown shade is actually cool-toned, matching my dark brown hair perfectly. So many brunette brow products seem to be warm-toned/reddish, so this is my HG. Love it.

LISTEN UP LADIES AND GENTS I PURCHASED MINE AT NORDIES RACK FOR $12.OO. I HAVE THE SHADE BRUNETTE. I LOVE THE PACKAGE, ITS FITS IN MY MAKEUP BAG IN MY PURSE. The powder wears and wears, i put the powder on yesterday and when i woke up i still had brows, now keep in mind i do use either a wax or a gel in the end. I find powder easier to use than pencils.

I am used to using my trusty NYX push up bra pencil but I got annoyed with having to sharpen it all the time so I went to trying a powder.
Pros: easy to use, spreads on naturally, good color for my brown eyebrows that have red undertones, packaging is convenient with all three products. My eyebrows look nice and they stay put without flaking or feeling crunchy.
Cons: THE PRICE. Holy smokes! The picture definitely was misleading. The product itself comes in a three part package that a silver dollar might be bigger than. I don’t know if you have black or true brown eyebrows if this will work. It might be too red. I am sure it is me, but I don’t understand the need for the lighter color. That is one you’re supposed to fill in your brows but it’s considerably lighter than the “define” color. To me that almost looks like the color someone with blonde eyebrows would use? Again, it could be me because I actually have decent eyebrows, I just use products to define them vs draw them on.
I like the product, but this should not be more than $10/$15 and it’s that high simply because of the Smashbox name.

i really like this. it was a bit expensive where i live, but that’s okay because it lasts a very long time. it’s very easy to use and it looks great. i have naturally thick, dark eyebrows but around the edges the hairs are a bit sparser so i like to darken them a bit more with an angled brush and make them look fuller. this definitely does the job. this is an awesome product and i’d definitely recommend it to someone who doesn’t mind spending a little more money.
for me personally, i wouldn’t buy it again because it was 40$ and i don’t use the gel or light powder. i only use the dark powder.

I have the colour blond. It fits well and looks natural. Could be better, but have nothing bad to say about. I just feel stupid paying these high prices for such little products..

I am quite fair and have blonde eyebrows. I normal have trouble finding a brow product that isn’t orange or taupy gray (blah!). THIS is fantastic. The colours are so natural (I have it in “Blonde”) and they go on so easily, defining the brows perfectly and adding so much to make you look… awake!
I gave the price only 1 lip pie because it is ridiculously expensive for the tiny amount of product you get. When I finish this, I may just go back to my MAC pencil in “Fling” because it’s just more economical.

Okay so I bought this product about 4 years ago….thats right 4 years ago. Obviously I havent used it for the whole time but I find myself continually coming back to it after using MUA favorites such as the E.L.F and NYX brow duo. I love this product, the darker shadow I tend to use for lining above and beneath my brows and especially defining the arch, whilst i use the lighter color for filling them in. Although this was quite expensive (80.00NZD) I have definitely got my moneys worth and would buy this again. The only bad thing I would say about this is that the brow wax definitely runs out before you have finished the shadows. This was my first brow filling product and its definitely a “good” one.

This is a review for the brow tech trio, where half of the pot is wax and there’s one quarter of a lighter colour and one of a darker
This is amazing – if you’re thinking about buying this product, go and buy it now!!
I’d never filled in my eyebrows before so was quite worried about them looking overdone and fake. I have dark brunette hair however decided to buy this is taupe instead of brunette which I thought would look to harsh.
I tend to only use the lighter colour with some wax on top, I don’t even have a proper brush to apply this but just use an old eyeshadow brush and it looks great.
I’ve got so many compliments since I started using it.
Pros: Matches my eyebrow colour well
Easy to apply
Looks so natural
Even though it’s quite pricey, it lasts a looong time – it lasted me 5 months before the wax ran out, the colours will probably last a whole year haha
Cons: The wax ran out way before the coloured pigments did so I’ll need to buy a separate pot of wax
I’ll definitely be buying this again 🙂

I bought this almost a year ago, and for me it’s very difficult to find a brow colour that matches my black brows. There are a few colour options available -If you have have blonde, red or light-dark brown brows this will likely suit you.
I have this in “Brunette” which can look a bit harsh and looks too “red” (which to be fair I have found that almost every brow product ever made for brunettes has this problem!!) but I mix the powder with a slightly lighter matte eyeshadow to customize and create a better match. I also the Smashbox powder in the crease area to define my eyes. It has great staying power and isn’t in the least bit dusty like many powder products are! The colour is very buildable, but realistically you just need a tiny bit to get a natural look. The wax works well, I use this less often than the powder just to gives my brows some hold and it gives a nice realistic look, without being glossy or very matte.
Overall, this is great when you are on the go and can’t be bringing a bunch of brow products with you. If you can find a match in the colours available I would recommend this. I wouldn’t repurchase because it simply doesn’t match my brows, and I got some great suggestions (with much better colour matches) for me through the MUB – super grateful for that!

I have been unhappily using eye brow pencils which give an artificial look to brows because I could not find a brow powder that was pigmented enough and long lasting. Smashbox brow tech is an amazing product. The colors are pigmented, stay on, and apply smoothly. Finally, I have natural looking brows. I apply with an Avon bent angle eye liner brush.
