I had high hopes for this product, but I can only give it a 3.5. I have a common skin color, not super white, just a notch above. Not the whitest concealer, just one or two notches higher. It didn’t blend with the rest of my face, the concealer side, and it does very little to conceal if you haven’t had your eyebrows done recently. I think any creamy concealer can do what this does. The highlighter is useless because it has cool undertones (almost silver), which doesn’t look good with warm (yellow-based skin tones). I thought it would be more golden because it’s “sand.” I won’t repurchase.

Great hi lighter for the brow. I also like to use as an eyeshadow base. I would recommend this product to everyone!

This product is ok, I don’t know if it’s amazing or even good. I might have gotten the wrong shade although I’m pretty fair skinned I’ve found this product a tad too light. I don’t know if it’s worth purchasing when you could simply use your concealer to define brows…

I have very very pale skin but after looking at some online swatches I decided to buy this in camille/sand, mainly for the matte end as a highlight. It really isn’t quite light enough for someone like me as a highlight but the pinkish flesh tone does freshen the arch and the product goes on smooth and covers stray hair well when you’re not up to date with the weekly plucking job. Id like to try the lighter colour just to compare. My other beef is that the caps come fairly loose and are never really on snug so the chances are, once they are rolling around in the makeup bag, they will come off causing a mess and blunting the tip of the pencil

This is the first product of this kind that I purchased. I got my brows shaped at the Anastasia counter and I really like how the gal highlighted them — so I purchased this. The price is a little steep — which is why I can’t give it 5 lippies — but the colors are so pretty. I like to use the matte pink side on a daily basis. It lifts my brows and brightens the area. I don’t think it will replace the highlight shadow that I put there, but I think it looks good anyway. Sometimes I layer the matte shade over the highlight shade for nighttime or for some extra highlighting. But mostly I use the shimmery side in the inner corner of my eye. This is a beautiful product — I’m sure there is a cheaper dupe out there somewhere — but for now I am enjoying this.

This is my first Anastasia of Beverly Hills purchase ~ I think all of the products are terribly overpriced. This is a duo pencil highlighter with Matte Camille and Sand Shimmer. The names of the products are truly the exact color of their names.
Matte Camille is creamy and glides on easily. I use the NYX Eye Primer Brush to evenly distribute the product. This is my go-to highlighting pencil for daytime, but not everyday ~ I’m a cheapskate and use the NYX Push Up Bra for Brows instead. The matte pink works well with my skin tone and it provides just the right amount of color to brighten my face. It’s barely noticeable and it just gives you a nice lift.
Sand Shimmer is for evenings out. It can be used in lieu of a shimmer shadow and it has the same effect. I wish I would have figured this out before I shelled out $25 (w/ tax) for a duo pencil. Had I known this, I would not have purchased this pencil. I would have purchased Matte Camille only. Sad to say there’s nothing special here with Sand Shimmer. It’s a cream shimmer eyeshadow in a stick ~ Nothing more, nothing less. Not worth the money. Purchase Matte Camille separately…
