I agree with the first reviewer on the product being deceptively long.
I got this in korea and bought number 5- grey brown and number 6 brown.
Price wise it was very cheap. Skinfood is real cheap in korea but super marked up overseas.
I started trying this and when i tried to twist the entire product up, it only has slightly more than 1 inch which I was pretty shocked too. But oh well at least if you hate this product you can use it up more quickly.
I find that the brown was a bit too dark for my liking and perhapes I would draw my brows with lighter hands next time.
Neither love or hate this but won’t repurchase due to its amount of product and there are many other brands out there to try.

It’s very easy to apply and my filled-in brows look very natural with this on after I blend with the attached spoolie. I have #2, I think, which is a gray color. My hair and eyebrows are black.

As far as function and product quality, this is one of the best eyebrow products I’ve ever used. The product comes with a pencil tip and a brush tip on the other end for grooming brows. The actual pencil product is rectangular in shape instead of round like a typical pencil, and is twisted up to expose the product. The pencil glides on smoothly and with precision and is for the most part self-sharpening. The color I had, No.3 Black Brown, was a little dark for my eyebrows (my hair is black, eyebrows are actually lighter than this Black Brown) but if I applied excess product, I usually groomed it off with the brush end of the pencil while combing it smoothly into place. The pencil is not waterproof or long-lasting, but generally it stays put as long as nothing touches my face. If brow hairs stray or the color fades, it’s easy to whip out this single tool and touch up while I’m out and about.
The only complaint that I have about this product is that the packaging is deceptively long, while the actual pencil product is very skinny and barely more than an inch in length when fully twisted up. My absolute favorite brow products are the Maybelline Expert Wear Twin Brow/Eye Pencils which contain product through its entire length, in 2 pencils, for about the same price that I got the Skinfood Black Bean Brow Pencil, which contains about 1/6 of the product that both Maybelline pencils have. While the Black Bean Brow Pencil has the best packaging design for what I need, it contains so little product it does not do the packaging any justice compared to better-value brow pencils that may lack in product design but deliver in product amount significantly.
To put into perspective, Maybelline’s Expert Wear Twin Brow/Eye Pencils take about 8 months to use up both pencils on a daily basis. Skinfood’s Black Bean Eyebrow Pencil was done only a little over a month after I purchased it, used at the same rate. Both are about US$4.
