When it comes to brow products, I prefer the quick and easy route, and if it involves more than one product/tool, I’m generally not interested. This means I’m fond of pencils, and although I’ll admit that the pomades can look a bit more natural, I’m pretty sparse on brow hairs and need all the help I can get.
This pencil has been simple to use, matches my hair well, and glides on easily so there’s minimal drama. Drawing brows is probably the least favorite part of my routine, but this pencil is pigmented and creamy enough that it makes it easier and it lasts well through the day. It hasn’t dried out or gotten crusty, and when applied in a feathery pattern, it can look quite natural. The price is also fine for what you’re getting.

I don’t like spending big dollars on brow pencils (as much as I loved the Shu brow pencils, that price tag is too much) and when I had red highlights in my hair, I wanted an inexpensive brow pencil with auburn in it and this one fit the bill.
The name is misleading as it’s more of an auburn brown shade as opposed to a true brown.
I like its fine point and that I don’t need to sharpen it. (a big pet peeve of mine with pencils)
The brush at the end is great for combing the colour through the brows.
Staying power is okay and I find Korean brow pencils reign supreme with staying power.
I still have this brow pencil and if I ever have red highlights again, it will get good use.

Its really good for staying power, love the formula, like it works really well
but it has a redish color, wasnt expecting that :/

This comes out with a red tinge so your eyebrows look red, the packaging is unhygenic if not sprayed with a rubbing alcohol/makeup brush cleanser and it’s not very smooth nor does it have good staying power. Super disappointed.

Another product that I purchased after wanting to re-create the “perfect eyebrow” tutorials or a pin up look The application is smooth and easy and the price is great. I am not a big fan of the packaging, however, since the brush end came off although I keep my products nealy packed away. Also, the pencil came out and I had to put it back in although it reacted properly after I put it back (twisted up fine). I will purchase it again but this time in a darker color since I have black brows, I will go with a dark brown , black would be too severe.

I am very impressed with the quality of this eyebrow pencil for it is very pigmented, has a wonderful creamy texture and has staying power — esp. considering the pencil costs less than $5. I have used higher end eyebrow pencils and without as much success and/or color payoff as I have experienced with this eyebrow pencil.
As for the NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil in Brown this is a medium tone brown color with red undertones and I believe would look very natural on lighter skin tones and those who have brown or red hair.
Also, I really like that this pencil never needs to be sharpened (since I never know where my sharpener is) and it can apply both thin and thick lines on the eyebrows, thus, giving you more control over the application of the liner. I really like this eyebrow pencil and I will definitely repurchase this product.

This product can hold it’s own with the best of them in terms of wear and pigment. It’s labeled as brown, but it has fair amounts of red in there with it. It’s actually a really fitting tone for my hair color. I believe it was less than $5- and they do go on sale for at least 25% off. It wears just the same in terms of longevity as Tarte’s waterproof brow pencils.

Used Jolene brow bleach on my brows. Pencil is the perfect shade of brown(med-dark redtoned brown). No sharpening and nice brush on the end. For reference, I’m a DDD(NW45ish or HIP#820)
