When I went to go purchase this product, I was in desperate need for a new eyebrow pencil and I had also heard so many good reviews about the product, but I was extremely disappointed. After reading all the reviews I was expecting to fall in love with it but sadly, I did not. As far as the price goes, I was impressed. The packaging had me a little confused but thats nothing to complain about, the pigmentation of the product and the colour is what is disappointed me, I swatched the product on my hand at the store and it seemed like a perfect match but when I got home and used it on my brows it was as if it was a completely different colour and the pigmentation of the product wasn’t that great, I felt like I had to push so hard to get it to even look decent, and the brush on the cover is very soft with I find is nice for some things but isn’t coarse enough to properly brush your brows out, I would recommend this product if you are a beginner with brows or just want a super light brow routine, but if you’re looking for something a little more like me, i wouldn’t recommend, i may repurchase it just to try it out again but I’m not so sure.

Being a darker strawberry blonde for a long while, it was difficult to find the right eyebrow shade for my hair color and skin tone. This is darker than blonde, closer to a light brown with a tinge of red. I probably won’t buy this color again since I’m going back to my natural cool, medium brown. It’s a very good line for a slightly more involved face with setting powder.
I like NYX’s Eyebrow Gel slightly better. It requires a lot less product, it’s less creamy, and has better staying power without layering multiple different products. The packaging is alright for a twist-up eyebrow pencil. The bullet is a long oval that’s too big to make realistic hair strokes, but very good for eliminating sharp lines for a more natural, rounded eyebrow shape. The brush on the other end isn’t too soft or too hard and spreads product decently.
The payoff is medium, the colors are true, but I have to use a lot more product than I expected. It doesn’t apply to the hairs very well and needs another product to help tame them. I don’t mind the texture and consistency, but this can move if not properly coated with powder through the hairs. So if you want to use an eyebrow mascara, you have to set this thoroughly first and hope you don’t mess it up.

I’m impressed with the quality of this inexpensive eyebrow pencil. It’s very pigmented, applies easily as the texture is creamy and smooth, and it never requires sharpening. The colour is a reddish-light brown with slight orange undertones. This shade looks natural with my dyed red hair, whether my hair is a shade of copper or a more intense bright red, it always seems to match. Granted I do dye my brows to match, but I have very sparse brows that need to be filled in. I really like this eyebrow pencil as the quality is fantastic and the shade works for me, will definitely repurchase this product.
