I like this product, but I think my expectations for it may be different than those of other reviewers. I have it in 02 Light/Medium, and it does give my brows a nice finishing touch–a very subtle but eye-catching “highlight” (I guess that’s as good a word as any). If you’re looking for a lot of color, you won’t get it with the wand it’s packaged with–which is my only complaint. The wand is a very stiff Christmas-tree type with fairly long bristles, so if your brows are thin, short, or sparse, you get very little product on the brow (which is to my taste for day, but I’d like a bit more zing at night). The Ideal wand would be one with long bristles on one side and short ones on the other to make it easier to apply the amount desired. Other than that, it’s a fun product and gives an unexpected, subtle accent to the brow and the face. Would I repurchase? Probably not. It’s nice, and it’s fun, but do I need it? No. (I have the travel size, and it’ll probably last for years.)

First time using it and i ended up with sore brows. I have 2 red spots that hurt to the touch, i didnt even have it on but a few hours.
I bought the copper since its close to my hair color but its really just glitter with a bit of color but nothing great.

I love Benefit`s Gimme Brow mascara, but I`m not sure what exactly the Browtones are supposed to be. Highlights?! I have mine in 02, and “the subtle highlights” it promises are so subtle, I`m not sure that anyone, mysels included, can detect them after application. The SA in Korea said it would give a kind of shine?!glint?! to my brows, so that the powder or pencil would look more like natural hair from a distance. Uhm, yeah…I`m not buying it, literally and figuratively.

I have always been quite impressed with most of Benefit’s eyebrow products. The new Benefit 3D BROWtones Instant Color Highlights didn’t disappoint. I chose the color copper because I didn’t want to try and pull off anything too bold but the copper color was just right for me. It added a beautiful reddish highlight that you can add wherever you choose. The wand is small enough that even if you have finely shaped brows you can use this without smudging anywhere on your skin. I love that this didn’t flake or smear throughout an entire day and gym workout which involved some sweating. If you are looking for a little brow enhancement this one is a winner. A
