The supposedly “matte” shades although shimmer free at first glance have lots of very fine shimmer visible in bright sunlight!
This product is marketed as an undetectable bronzer and available in matte shades, but there isn’t anything undetectable or matte about looking shimmery all over once you step outside in sunlight. I got this in the shades 10M and 30M.
Beside that issue the bronzers are pretty nice, but the shades could be a bit better. I had such high hopes for this, but it simply does not live up to its claim of being undetectable because of all that visible shimmer in sunlight.

I was hesitant to buy this because the reviews were very mixed with some people stating that it lacked pigmentation and it was difficult to apply with a regular brush. I am glad I caved in and decided to try it out for myself because it’s the best bronzer I’ve ever used. It’s hands down my favorite now and I reach for it everyday. I prefer it to the other high end bronzers I own – Becca Ipanema Sun and Hourglass Radiant Bronze Light .
For my complexion (NC42, golden undertones), I had the option of going for either the 30m or the 35i shade. The 30m has a neutral to cool undertone so it looked more suited to contouring which is not what I was after.
I decided to go for the 35i Caramel as I prefer its very warm undertone. It has an iridescence to it which gives me a beautiful glow that looks natural. It doesn’t get cakey and the formula is very build-able which makes it almost impossible to over apply. I use the same brush I always use with all my bronzers – Real Techniques Blush Brush and I’ve not had any issues with application.
It has a gel-powder hybrid formula so there’s absolutely no fall out when you use it. Due to the formula, it has great lasting power. I typically have this on for at least 12 hours and I notice no fading by the end of the day. I absolutely will buy this again although I can’t see myself running out of it any time soon.

I bought this while back and completely forgot to review it. This is probably the best bronzer I’ve owned to date. It is expensive but worth it.

Looooooove this. Second time purchasing after doing the bronzing tour. Hourglass to orange. Becca too….fake. Kat Von D a mess in pan. I like 20m. Tom Ford new bronzer is basically this for 1/2 price! Finish is most skin like, and softens the look. Yes have to swipe a lot…but so buildable and it lasts!

I am an nc15-20 and have this in colour 15i. I was reluctant to try this due to people commenting on how difficult it is to pick up but I really havent had this problem at all! It is described as ultra natural and waterproof and for me that description is spot on.
What I love:
1) The colour 15i is perfect – less orange than hourglass bronzer (luminous light), less orange than guerlain, similar colour to two faced 16 hour (slightly less warm) but much nicer formula – less patchy, less orange than laura mercier baked bronzer 02. Similar tone to nars laguna but not as dark when applied. Note: I would pick a colour which in the pan looks darker than what you would want on the face. I thought this was too dark in the pan (very brown looking) but it is perfect when on.
2) The formula – i love that it isn’t messy like baked bronzers (hourglass, laura mercier) which are also easy to overdo. For me it works great with the real techniques contour brush which picks up more than enough colour for my nc20 skin. This blends well and never looks patchy as long as you use the right colour for your skin tone. If nars laguna was too patchy or dark for you this colour is great.
3) Finish – very natural, not matte but like a satin finish, it has fine shimmers but doesn’t look shimmery on the face, just healthy.
Overall, it is a great all in one everyday cheek product. Great if you’re always in a hurry and can’t do the whole contour highlight etc and if you are heavy handed and find that every bronzer looks OOT on you. Very work friendly and all year round appropriate. This colour is especially great if you are tired of orange bronzers but didn’t like nars laguna.

This is an amazing bronzer. The gel, not powder powder texture looks amazing on my skin. I look poreless and doll faced (in a good way)If applied with a kabuki brush it is very subtle but I found that it shows more color if I apply it with my fan ecotools brush (go figure!). I am a nc20 with freckles and I have it in 10M. The shade has a mixture of orange and pink that looks very natural and glowy even though it swatches orange from the pan. I dont see it ending any time soon but if I lost it I would buy another one.

At first I didn’t like this product at all, probably because I got it in the summer and the lady at Sephora suggested I should try the shade 20M which was definitely too light for me back then and it looked like nothing on my skin.
However I find it the perfect bronzer for this time of the year when you still want to look sun kissed but in a more natural way. You can’t go wrong with this, it’s not very pigmented so it’s very unlikely for you to go overboard, it looks very very natural but it still adds that extra oomph to the skin!

I really love this bronzer. I have 15I and it looks so natural and beautiful On my nc15-20 skin. It has tiny tiny shimmers In it, but it doesn’t look shimmery On the skin. It just looks like a very pretty glow. It is pretty sheer, but i like that in a bronzer. It doesn’t make my face look dirty at all. The only thing i dont really like is the packaging. It’s not that sturdy and feels kinda cheap.

I am surprised to find this product has no reviews yet! This is hands down one of the best bronzers out there, and by far one of MUFE’s best products to date, IMO.
This bronzer is really unique – its a sort of gel powder formulation that feels wet and “springy” when you touch it with your fingers (very similar to Colorpop’s shock shadows and highlighters formula). It has zero fallout/dust/waste when you swirl the brush into it – a benefit of the unique formulation. It glides on smooth and to perfection and it’s basically fool proof and its near impossible to make a mistake or over apply and if anything you have to build it up if looking for deep color. This comes in 2 formulations, matte and iridescent – 25I Soft Iridescent Cinnamon is perfect on my NC30 complexion and I actually get no shimmer at all open application (thankfully bc my skin is very dry). This bronzer is very natural and provides a healthy sunkissed glow, so if you prefer a dark or deeper more obvious bronzer this product may not be for you. BUT if you are going for just a wash of color, this is the best all around in terms of color and formulation.
I have read some cons of this product are its sheerness and that a dense brush is needed for application – but as stated previously, this isn’t an “in your face” type of bronzer. Personally I tried the dense brush method and didn’t get the best results (see my review on the pro bronzer kabuki brush they are trying to sell with this at $32.00). I also experimented with a lot of my other brushes that were dense to medium density and while they worked fine, I found the Sephora pro bronzer brush #48 to be perfection! So my suggestion here is to skip the MUFE #136 pro bronzer kabuki brush because it’s not worth the price.
