I don’t know how I stumbled upon this bronzer, but at the time I bought it, I thought it might get discontinued, as Colourpop were discontinuing several other products at the same time. I have many other bronzers, but I felt I absolutely needed this because it has one big difference from what most of my other bronzers are: it is cool toned.
I absolutely love to wear bronzer! It makes my face feel very much more alive. Lately, I’ve bought several bronzers, but most of them have an orange or red undertone. When I was NC 25, orange bronzers looked good on me – my olive skin somehow tans orange. However, now that I’m about NC20, orange shows up… well, orange on me, and it doesn’t look quite natural compared to my skin.
I ordered the spectacle bronzer with a white compact case, and I definitely think it’s worth doing – it has a great, big mirror and is easier to carry around. The color is somewhere between a bronzer and a contour: an almost taupe light brown. It looks super natural and very good against my skin tone. The finish is matte. It’s not powdery and isn’t easy to overdo (at least IMO). Lasts a good while on my skin. I enjoy using it a lot!
Would recommend if you have a light-light/medium skintone and want a cool-toned, cheap bronzer. However, not 5 lippies because I like the application of Physician’s Formula butter Bronzer better (although I fislike the smell)
