Rosewood is the lightest shade in ABH line of bronzers and they describe it as ‘light, golden’. I’m enjoying using it enough to say that I’ll definitely rebuy it again, despite the price, as I reach for it over my past favourite bronzer [Benefit Hoola or Hoola Lite, depending on the time of year] every time I wear any makeup. I’d describe Rosewood as a soft light tan shade with a gentle matte finish, that is best for fair to light skintones. The fact that this bronzer has no shimmer, and isn’t too out-and-out warm in tone, also makes this nice for using as a contour powder. The powder is very finely milled, so doesn’t cake or empathize dry skin. It wears all day on me.
Between this and ABH second lightest shade, Tawny [has some red in it’s undertone – sounds iffy, but it does mimic how my skin looks when I’ve been out in the sun, so it’s great and natural-looking in warm weather],I’m set for bronzers and am happy enough to not want to search for ‘better matches’. Dare I call these HG worthy?!
I’m sure I’ve heard the bronzers described as being made in Italy; it’s the actual plastic compact that is made in China.

This is a good colour for fair-medium skin tones (I’m on the fairer end of that scale) who don’t want to look too heavily bronzed. It’s deep enough to give a visible bronze glow, without being too obvious.
It’s very finely milled, and a lovely matte, smooth consistency. You definitely get a good product for your money here. The packaging feels special too, simple but high end, with a decent sized mirror.

The color is BEAUTIFUL – especially is you are fair to medium, BUT I returned it and went back to my drugstore bronzer by Essence and Catrice which are both under $5.00 and just as gorgeous. This entire line by ABH will cost you over $25 each at Ulta or department store and the product is made in China!!! No way am I willing to pay that for makeup made in China. I’ll just by Makeup Revolution or some other cheap brand. I’ll stick to my beautiful, blendable bronzer from Essence which is made in Italy.

Becoming a holy grail bronzer. Bought it on a whim and fell in love!! however, if you don’t like orangey bronzers this might not be for you. I LOVE a super warm glow so this is perfect for me. Matte and stays on all day, doesn’t fade!

I am pleasantly surprised with this bronzer, it gives my fair to light skin a nice glow and actually looked better as the day went on. The rosewood is definitely warm toned and leans slightly pink, definitely not orange in any way. It is very matte so I personally feel it needs highlighter to give a more natural glow, I got the amerzy highlighter and the two go very well together. The compact is well made and generous in size, compared to other brands of HE highlighter it isn’t too outrageously priced for as much product as you get.
I have to admit Anastasia is totally confusing with the whole “if your skin tone is warm then pick a cool shade & vice versa” in her youtube video, so I just went with the lightest shade.

Rosewood is one of the new single bronzers ABH has released and is for light to warm or neutral undertones. This shade is just pure perfection for my warm/neutral skin tone and may I also say…goes with the new ABH Amrezy highlighter like they were born together! The formula on this is smooth and silky, super blendable and wears all day like a dream. I’m really impressed with this product so far. Also, may I say that ABH has gone above and beyond with the packaging?! Sturdy compact with a full sized mirror inside and this gorgeous 2-D effect on the lid. When you move it around in the light you can see the ABH logo underneath the company name spelled out on the top. Anastasia hit the trifecta with this powder, I give them a 100% on the formula, wear and packaging.
Overall, LOVE!!!!
