I found this shade in “Light Bronze” on clearance at Kroger for like $5. I’m pleasantly surprised! The light gold yellow shade, matte pink/coral, matte medium brown, shimmery pink-y purple all blend pretty well together. Although they aren’t super pigmented, it makes for a low key shimmery cheek. Pleasant cheek surprise from Maybelline!

I would not buy this product again just because I can’t tell if it’s a highlighter or a shimmery blush/bronzer I’m extremely confused to what I’m even suppose to call it. I don’t see the “bronze” look when applying it I see more of a blush/highlight look. I do still use it at times for a natural or a quick get out of the house rush type of morning but it DEFINITELY is not my “go to” makeup item. I think it would be good for girls who are just beginning in the whole makeup deal and just starting to figure it all out

I really, really, really like this mosaic bronzing/highlighting powder. I have only used the Light Bronze shade. I used to use Wet n Wild Mega Glo Illuminating Powder, but these Maybelline ones, although 2-3x the price, of the WnW ones, overall keep the look subtle and never overdone, and there isn’t a shimmery overload that I had to be careful not to get with the WnW powders. They come in a mirror compact and a little flat brush, but I only use the brush when I absolutely have nothing else to apply it with, for example I’m traveling. The included brush’s bristles are a tad bit stiff.
The Master Hi-Light Bronzers are buildable but they’re not flushed with color like the Master Hi-Light Blushes, so I feel like the bronzers can never be over-done and are easier to work with than the blushes from the same product line. The look is very natural and the slight shimmer from the taupe shades adds dimension to my face after I have matted it with either Clinique Stay Matte Pressed Powder or Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Pressed Powder. I have an oily face typically after 4-5 hours, so then my face is coated in shine. But when I use a blotting paper, it does not really lift the bronzer off my face, which is great if my day hasn’t really ended yet.
I’ll definitely be repurchasing this when I’m out. Good on Maybelline!

I bought this in the darkest color expecting a bronzed look. Nope this is definitely just a highlighter. It creates a nice sheen on the skin. It is beautiful and for the price is a steal. This is easy to apply…I just use a finger to just apply to the tops of my cheek bones sometimes all the way to the apples. Not bad at all.

Awesome!! My Australian friend on FB got me kinda curious about this product so I bought it. I love it! Also as stated below this could be a kinda dupe for Hourglass Ambient Light! I totally thought that too!! (GMTA). I got this in Light Bronze. When choosing this there are 2 to choose from (Light Bronze & Dark Bronze, the rest are blushes althou Nude in the blushes looks like it could almost double as a bronzer but it doesn’t have shimmer I could really detect from just seeing it in the store). W that said, this is a bit of a glitter bomb. The thing that shows up on me most is the shimmer then the bronze (lightly bronzed), the pink is barely discernible…I tried this as an all over powder the first time, that didn’t look right (was experimenting!); now I use it where I’d put my contour which looks really pretty. If I want a really dramatic look I will use it as my highlight & use a very dark powder (eg elf studio pressed powder in Cocoa) to carve out my cheekbones for a very sculpted look. This product is so unique! I’ve not got any products that one day I can use as a contour then in the next breathe could be a highlight! This was ~USD$9 at Kroger. It’s overpriced but I would rebuy esp for Dark Bronze. I def want the Dark Bronze. I’m kind of a bronzer/contour/highlight freak. I collect them. Maybelline isn’t 1 of my fave brands like it used to be, anymore. Mostly coz of ALL of their different eyeliners (red twin pencils & Ultra waterproof liquid are only good 1’s but I digress). It’s nice to see Maybelline coming out w some nicer products again. Always loved their lippies but they are grossly overpriced coz I can have either 2 of their lipstick or 1 MAC so what am I gonna choose naturally. They need to overhaul their prices so does Loreal. I find it loathsome to pay more than $10 for a DS product, this is cutting it close to my limit. Very good product!

I really enjoy using this bronzer, the colours blend together naturally on my super fair skin, and it’s pretty hard to overdo it with this product. It’s not orange or glittery, it leaves a nice glow but isn’t dark enough for any significant contouring or “golden bronze”. My only complaint is that with the way I tend to swirl the colours around with my brush, the brown will settle over the pink and i’ll have to scrape it away every few days.

great product! I love how all the powders seem portion out as the fine blending always deposits so nicely. I also have taken a tile and finger applied the highlight color in a pinch as shadow or cheek bone highlight. Def would purchase and recommend for a more blended not orange bronzer

I bought this product because I was looking for something with some gentle shimmer to add some glow and dimension to my skin. This is just right. It has a mix of a light beige, a darker tan, a medium taupe and a pink. I mix all the colors with my brush and use it as a contour/highlight with a bit down the sides of my nose to add some luminescence. I like it a lot! I use a separate blush to add some more color to my cheeks. I like the color of this, but find it too tan/neutral to use on it’s own without a colored blush. This is a great product – just the right amount of shimmer, no glitter!

I bought this with high hopes, I had forgot my favorite bronzer at home, and I picked this to give it a try, and I was disappointed. I absolutely despise the pink tones in it, it came out red to me, and resembled a red-brick blush. I the packaging is nice, and I like the mirror, but the brush does not work well. I think if they toned down the red, and added more tan shades it would have worked much better.

This is the perfect everyday cheek product for me on days where I’m in a hurry because it doubles as a blush/bronzer color. The pink in it is enough for a nice flush and the bronze helps to contour. I wear this more than my other blushes because there are times I’m undecided on what cheek color I want.
