I picked this up on a whim after I decided it was better to embrace my pale complexion instead of baking in the sun. I often found when I wore a paler foundation that I lacked colour in my skin. This bronzer has been my holy grail ever since I purchased it. It has a beautiful shade for pale skin which brings colour naturally back to the skin. I have used the darker Hoola for years and am so happy they realized a lite version. This has been a holy grail in my makeup routine and I use it whenever I wear a foundation or BB cream. This has also lasted me over a year so it’s great value!!!

I love this bronzer! Although I have a darker tan skin tone I use this as my setting powder as it matches my colour. This brightens my skin and I also use this over my face even when I don’t use foundation but instead over a tinted moisturiser and I apply with a big powder brush rather than the one it comes with. Keeps my combination skin matte all day and does not irritate my skin. I just wish this came in the jumbo size like the original Hoola bronzer.

Best bronzer i have ever tried for fair skin!! Not to orange not to grey just PERFECT!! Blends like a dream and other products layer on top seamlessly.

I really love this bronzer! I have pretty fair skin and am always hesitant when buying bronzers because they are often too dark or come off too orange but this one is a really nice neutral light shade that works perfectly. I bought it in the summer and it bronzed my face nicely when I had a slight “tan” and in the winter it’s great because it brings some colour back to my face. It’s very bendable and you can build it up a bit if you want more colour.
Cardboard box is pretty cute and you get a decent amount of product for the price – at least I think so, I still have a lot left and I’ve been using it constantly for a few months now. The brush is okay, I tend to use other bronzing brushes I have but I like that it comes with a tiny applicator for when I take it traveling.
I will definitely repurchase this once I run out. It’s my go-to daily bronzer!

I ended up returning it, though not for the lack of performance.
Color wise I loved it! Original Hoola is too dark and too yellow for me, but this looked perfect on my NC20-25 skin. I find lots of popular bronzers are too dark and too obvious for my liking. Unfortunately, fragranced products irritate my sensitive skin if used daily and this bronzer isn’t an exception. Now I’m looking for same color elsewhere. Also, I hated the superbulky odd packaging. I usually stay away from Benefit just because of that.

Honestly, I have never used a bronzer before my friend gave me Hoolalite. She claims that since I am very fair (NC15-20), Hoolalite would be perfect for me. I use this lightly on my cheeks and a little on my forhead and jaw, and it actually gives me a really nice glow. I apply this right after foundation and before I apply my blush. For days that I wanna look a little bit bronzy, I use Hoolalite. 🙂 the box packaging is a little tricky to handle for me, but I really do like the brush it comes.

This is a fantastic bronzer for my pale self. About me NW20, blonde hair, green eyes, and very cool undertones for reference. This is the first bronzer I can use without worrying about it looking muddy. It looks natural and since I do not tan this has been an awesome summer product. I like to use this with a touch of blush just on the apples of my cheeks. This product is smooth, buttery, has great payoff, and it smells good.lol You get so much product for the $$ so to me it’s a great value as it will take a long time for me to finish this. I would repurchase as it’s the 1st bronzer I can use without having to sheer it out or use a super light hand. I couldn’t be happier as a pale person it’s really a great product to have. Love!

Hands down the best bronzer I have ever found for my NC15 skin! I’ve always struggled with bronzers being the pale gal that I am. They are usually altogether far too warm/make me muddy looking. I do have warmth to my skin but taking the regular Hoola as an example its just too warm for me and left me orange looking. I could make it work but with lots of blending and a light hand.
The point is though, you shouldn’t have to struggle to get make up to work for you. Hence why I’m so glad they’ve made this light version cus it is everything I’d hoped for and then some.
A lot of reviews I’d seen about this bronzer had said that its not cool enough for cool toned pale people. But personally I think the purpose of a bronzer is to warm up the skin, so having a completely cool toned bronzer would leave you looking like you have shadowy patches on your skin. I can see the point of a cool toned contour shade, as you want to create a shadow to slim your cheeks. But then I apply a bronzer to warm up and soften the contour slightly. I may be wrong, but that’s just my opinion. So if you’re looking to buy this product with it in mine that its cool toned, then its probably not for you.
With that being said, this is definitely not an overly warm bronzer, hence why it works well. Its a very light slightly yellowy brown with the slight warm undertones that make it perfect for fair and light skin tones. They’ve literally taken the original Hoola and kicked it down a notch. Its blends beautifully, and doesn’t leave you with that orangey muddy look. It also softens my contour so its not quite so stark or harsh.
Not forgetting to mention it smells SO GOOD. I can only describe it as a light flowery powdery smell. Its definitely not a strong scent but if you are averse to scented products then I would steer clear.
Overall, I am so happy I got this. It is pricey, and the packaging could most definitely be better for £24.50, but I always hate that Benefit put their blushes and bronzers in these silly boxes that are hard to get brushes into. However, putting that aside, I will probably never look back at other bronzers now. This has totally stolen my heart. Love, love, LOVE it. Would recommend and repurchase.
