This is a candy! Great color, blends well, lasts all day, GREAT packaging. And its like for free!? The brush is shitty but its just for decoration.

Dupe alert! A good alternative to Benefit Hoola bronzer. I’m on my 3rd one. A flattering Brown shade. No hint of orange. Good for contouring. Cardboard packaging is OK. Can get a bit dirty, but I can live with that. W7 make all round great dupes.

For some reason this bronzer looks “dirty” on my skin instead of making it look sun kissed. It’s not a good match for my skin tone (medium/neutral). Won’t be repurchasing but at €4 I don’t regret trying this product.

This is my favorite Bronzer! It’s not orange at all in my opinion.I am medium toned skin with a yellow undertone.I can be pretty pale in the winter.lol.This us the best.I don’t use blush.I just use this bronzer to cover it all.A little goes a long way because it’s so dark but that’s what I love is the shade. It’s just perfect to me.I’m 47 and have used bronzer my whole life and this is my favorite right now and the price is great.I found it less expensive on e bay than Amazon.I did order my 2nd time buying it from the UK on EBay.I was wanting this and it was less expensive and I love the seller on there who sells mostly w7 makeup. It’s great in the summer as well as winter .

I’ve been looking for this product for ages after reading so many comparisons to Benefits Hoola. I had a free sample of the Benefit version and wanted a full, size product but as bronzer is something I use only occasional and even then very very little, the price of Benefit didn’t seem worth it. So as so many people have been saying this product is an exact copy I’ve been checking every w7 stand for months, I know it’s on eBay but it’s stupid high prices, I’ve inkynever seen Honolulu loose powder in shops, mom when I saw this in TK MAXX today for £2.99 I grabbed it.
I have no idea how it’s gotten the reputation of being a good copy of Benefits as on opening its a lot lot darker. I figured it may just look darker than it is, but nope, on the skin, it’s several shades darker, I’m fair skinned and while I like a shade darker for summer, this will still look ridiculous even with a tan.
Included brush looks decent quality but isn’t useful for applying this on me, can see why others like it though, just personally I’ll use it for other products,
There’s an awful lot of fallout (before the brush even touches your skin) so I’ve found I need a towel down or the dust ends up all over my other make up and/or clothes. Blending works but takes a little while, I wouldn’t say it blends easy, but it’s not the most difficult either.
I’ve found it hard to rate this because it’s not a bad bronzer, it’s very pigmented and has hours and hours staying power, which are qualities that most people want, but it just isn’t a dupe for benefit which is why I bought it. I’m going to swap or pass this on to someone with darker skin.
If I was looking for a good quality matte dark bronzer then this would be HG.

W7’s ‘Honolulu’ bronzer is generally thought to be a dupe to Benefit’s ‘Hoola’ bronzer. To be honest,I liked the ‘Honolulu’ one much more. The product is creamy, and applies evenly on the skin. It’s perfect for contouring, and the brush included is ideal for contouring your cheekbones, collarbones and nose. The packaging is sort of similar to the Benefit’s one, made of pressed paper and very appealing. I use ‘Honolulu’ on a daily basis and I am definitely going to repurchase it!

I never thought I’d enjoy a darker bronzer so early in the year. I found W7 Honolulu Bronzer @ Burke Outlet (similar to Ross) for about $2 on Clearance. The “compare at” price was $10. The packaging is adorable w/pink & white letters & flowers. It reminds me of Hard Candy & Benefit products. I didn’t like the brush for all over bronzing so I set it aside for highlighting. The powder itself is really soft, blends like a dream, & has no scent. I prefer a somewhat gimmicky scent in bronzers like a coconut scent but oh, well. It looks a bit orange but I like it b/c I can leave it matte by wearing it alone or top it w/Wet n Wild Reserve Your Cabana for fragrance, SPF, & shimmer all over the face. The WnW tones down the color, too. As for the W7, it doesn’t fade all day or get blotchy. I use an E.L.F. Studio Kabuki to apply. Now I own a handful of bronzers from various brands that I love! Honolulu is certainly the darkest in my stash but definitely worth seeking out even if you’re cool-to-neutral skinned like me.

I bought it for the brush but it’s a little rough and streaky when product is applied.
The product isn’t very pigmented. I prefer my Asda George bronzer or the bronzer included in my Barry M contour kit.

I got this on a whim because I discovered the brand w7 and searched up reviews and found blogposts comparing this to benefit Hoola which I own and I must say I like this quite a lot it does take some working with to find your ideal way to apply it because yes it is really pigmented, think wet n wild blushes so start off with a light hand and you’ll be all good..
So on to the comparison, I don’t really find them similar other than their Hawaiin esque names and similar packaging, Hoola to me is very much on the orangey side and I feel I get the same effect when I use NYC sunny bronzer Honolulu has no undertones to it and personally I like that about it definitely try it out if you’ve been wanting to , if you don’t like it it’s not like it was a huge investment
