I like this bronzer but I think it’s too dark for me. It would look great if I went tanning but I stopped after a while. It looks great if I brush this on lightly, but I personally don’t like the little shimmers in it. I don’t like sparkles or shimmer on my face, except for eyeshadow. I guess I’ll have to live with it until I find something else that suits my preference.

I was on the look-out for a bronzer to compliment my medium-toned asian skin. Although I go tanning all year round, I prefer to have lighter skin on my face during the winter and I wanted a bronzer to have a nice tanned look for days when I felt like switching things up. I read amazing reviews for the Physicians Formula Baked Pyramid bronzer but after buying it, I was really dissappointed due to the orangey pink tones on my asian skin. I also purchased the Physicians Formula Summer Eclipse bronzer, hoping that it was darker. However, that product did not even show up on my skin except for the gold sparkles.
Refusing to waste any more money on products that I could not test in the store, I proceeded to the Lise Watier tester counter. When I tried a little of the Havana bronzer on the back of my hand, I went outside to find that it gave me a natural bronzed matte look in natural lighting. The color was a perfect match for my already semi-dark skin so I did not find it to be dark as other reviewers did. I think that this shade would be too dark for fair-toned skin.
I ended up purchasing it for $26 at my local London Drugs. The compact is copper colored and comes with a decent-sized mirror. The copper opens to reveal a sea-shell imprint of the pressed bronzer. There is a very very subtle shimmer but this appears like a warm glow in natural lighting as opposed to sparkles, like many bronzers. This product will probably last me very long as I do not use it often. However, I will look for a cheaper alternative when I am done with this. I would like to try the Wet n’ Wild Medium-Dark bronzer which has amazing reviews.

I liked it but I am not too sure about the color (too dark for me for winter) If I put it on lightly is really beautiful (I apply it with a fan brush) But we will see what happens when summer roles around!
