This is a very nice product, it definitely feels high end! That being said, this is a much more gentle exfoliator than the comparable Tree Hut, which I also really love. I think for the winter time this is a more soothing, gentle exfoliant. The scent is also so nice, is creamy and it feels really pampering. The scent lingered a while on my skin after the shower, which I enjoyed. Looking ahead, in the summertime (and when I want a spray tan), I will look towards Tree Hut, as I think that would do a better job at fully sloughing off everything. However, in the winter and at times when I may want a more light exfoliant due to skin issues, I will look to this. Both are great, just in different ways.

This is delightful. I like a gentle scrub, but I find that sugar scrubs dissolve before they’re really done scrubbing. These particles don’t dissolve – you can scrub for as long as you want, they’re very fine so not too rough. The texture is very creamy. The granules were plentiful. I think the scent is like fresh almond and the scent does linger. Pleasantly surprised with this impulse item.

if you are looking for a more abrasive exfoliators to really scrub your skin then this isn’t for you. I have a deep scrub product that I am already pleased with but was looking for something more gentle and good for more day to day use and happened on this. At less than ten dollars, its a great price to try it out. It comes in a short round container with a screw off lid, the container is large enough in circumference that my hand easily fits inside it to scoop product out. It has a really nice light refreshing scent that doesn’t linger or overwhelm. I wet my body under the shower then step out of the water stream to apply it. I grab a handful and start applying it all over my body in circular motions. It has a creamy texture with gentle exfoliators that aren’t harsh or abrasive. I can feel the exfoliators as I apply it but its a soft scrub to my skin. It is effective though for what I use it for. I use it four or five times a week for gentle exfoliating in place of the more abrasive exfoliators I use twice a week. I work in a busy restaurant and come home hot, sweaty and covered in grime, sweat and dirt. I exfoliate to remove the day and the dead skin left behind from it all. A gentle exfoliators prior to washing leaves my skin radiant and healthy. This is perfect for that. I see people complaining that it doesn’t do anything but it does. It is a gentle scrub that is good for frequent use and leaves skin soft, moisturizer and looking good. I recommend this for anyone who is looking for a gentle enough for daily use exfoliators that isn’t harsh or abrasive and wants to bring out the very best of their skin. This definitely will help

Dove Exfoliating Body Polish is a dud. The product is mostly a thick cream with some very fine grains that are supposed to exfoliate. The grains are so few and so fine that this doesn’t make a very effective exfoliant for the body. This would probably be a better suited as a face scrub since it is so gentle. That being said I have not used this on my face, as I had a bad reaction to it on my body. YMMV, but this caused my eczema for flare up a bit, not really the effect I was looking for. I’ve use Tree Hut sugar scrubs which are much coarser and never had an issue with it irritating my skin. would not repurchase for obvious reason.

I like this as a basic, gentle scrub. I love the smell and it works for my arms and legs just fine. I bought this on a whim but won’t repurchase because I prefer coffee scrubs. But this is still a nice gentle option for people who don’t like grittier scrubs. The granules in this are very fine.

I was really wanting to try this new Dove body scrub but am disappointed with the product and results. The first thing about this is the scent. It smells like sugar cookies that have been dipped in perfume. Why would you mix a foodie scent with perfume? And the scent lingers. My bathroom smells like it for hours. I am also not happy with the misleading information on the container. It states that this is crushed macadamia and rice milk. There is no rice milk in this, just rice bran extract and rice bran oil. The scrubbie particles come from hydrated silica. There is no crushed macadamia nuts, just some macadamia oil. Contains nonfat dry milk. The scrubbies are quite fine when compared to Tree Hut sugar scrubs. A huge downside for me is that this leaves a giant mess in my tub of granules and funky gunk buildup in the tub. There are so many better options out there. I like any Tree Hut sugar scrub, C. Booth Foaming Dry Body Polish & Cleanser, or Earth Therapeutics Exfoliating Towel to this product.
