   This is probably the best product in the Visible Lift Blurring line.
   It’s a naturally light wash of color that you can build however building may result in a clown-like appearance and actually ruins the effect that this product was intended for: A radiant glow. I don’t buy into the whole ‘blurring’ sales pitch but this is a nice ,luminously pretty blush just the same.

   Soft pink is a medium coral pink blush with some gold highlights in it. It comes in a tube and the formula is light and creamy. It holds on fairly long on the cheeks. It brings a natural pink to the cheeks but with some little highlight as well! Love it!

   Ugh, I really wanted to like this. I bought this in Soft Pink and wore it once for just a couple hours. The color is beautiful but unfortunately the silicones in this made my cheeks break out. I used to have a silicone-based face primer that did the same thing. The packaging is pretty but not practical because it’s really hard to squeeze out the right amount of product. Overall it was just a fail for me, so I’ll be returning it.

   I have Soft Pink and Soft Peach. They are both pigmented, especially against my pale skin. You do have to be careful when you try to squeeze the product out though – the soft peach shade is more liquidy, while the soft pink comes out more in a bead like way, but still pretty fast, so user beware. I am usually able to just dot my finger into the product, gently pat it on my cheeks, and then use a stippling brush to spread it evenly. It definitely does the trick. It also stays put on my oily cheeks for hours upon hours, with or without powder blush on top. Overall, I like it, but I think that it can be hard to get the right amount out of the tube, and that it should probably come with a pump. On days when I wear face makeup, this is the blush I usually reach for, since it’s easy and stays put.

   Even if this was a great product – which it is not – the way it is packaged – in a tube – make this an UGGHH! for me. No matter how gently the tube is pressed, it “burps” out – it literally shoots out of the tube, and where it lands is anyone’s bet – but certainly not on my finger. I have the Berry shade – which looks like beautiful shade – but it goes on very slippery and you have to work fast. As many have said, it is high in silicones and lacks lasting power. L’oreal needs to reformulate this one. I love a gel blush and have used Origins “Pinch My Cheeks” for years, but for the money, the Origins blush beats this hands down

   Wow, this was a very disappointing product…to be honest I dont understand how anyone likes this blush at all. I bought the shade “soft peach” and it has NO pigmentation at all..and I have very pale porcelain skin and I couldnt get this to show up on me at all. I squeezed a bit out and applied and at first it looks beautiful but once you start to blend it just disappears….what.the.heck! I would give this a zero if I could…

   So disappointed, especially for how expensive this is for a drugstore product its totally not worth it.

   I was optimistic about this blush since I love sheer, creamy blushes. I don’t have a lot of natural rosiness in my complexion, so most highly pigmented powder blushes tend to look weird on me. Ultimately, though, I was disappointed by this one.

   When I first squeezed out a small drop, it looked super-pigmented and the color was gorgeous. (I got “soft pink,” by the way.) The consistency was also really lovely; very light and creamy and easily blendable. At first, I thought it might be too heavily pigmented for my preferences, but once I blended it, it looked really nice. Very sheer, subtle, light, and pretty; it added a nice highlight to my face.

   Unfortunately, it ended up being too sheer; by the time I got to work, it was gone! My skin is a little bit oily, so it might work better on someone whose skin tends more toward dry. Also, a setting spray might help. Still, I ended up returning it; for me, it was absolutely not worth the price. There are better blushes for cheaper! Or, for a little bit more, you could get a higher-end one, perhaps. This one really didn’t do it for me.

   I’m absolutely loving this. I have the color Soft Pink and it is very flattering and extremely natural looking on my pale skin. A lot like the Armani blushes. A must have.

   I actually like this better than the more highly rated Visible Lift Blur blush in rose gold. That product barely appeared on my near-death pale skin – and what did appear was just lots of gold shimmer. It was a very weird look, lots of gold (making me look pore-y) and very little pink. But this, the color payoff was great. I bought the pink shade and it’s definitely pink. Not peach, not red, not berry. Very pink, which is exactly what I wanted. I like the texture of the product. It’s very thick, kind of comes out of the tube in little balls, which I then massage around onto the apples of my cheeks. The staying power for me is great. I put this on at 6AM and it’s still there around 6PM after a crazy workday, with no time for oil-blotting or make-up retouches. I have no idea what it’s supposedly “lifting” but I can say it gives me a youthful flush of color, doesn’t make pores look visible, and has great lasting power. I am a 100% Pure blush stick die-hard (all natural, no animal testing), but sometimes I need to try something else, something I don’t have to order from California. This blush works great and was a nice change for a reasonable price. I plan to try both other colors.

    My skin: Combo, clog-prone, and sensitive to many fragrance ingredients. Warm golden yellow and olive complexion, NC40 in MAC/5.0 in MatchMaster.

    I picked up 3 shades (which is what was available in my area. . not sure if they have more) #503 Soft Berry which is a bright medium raspberry shade and probably best suited for light to medium deep complexions; #502 Soft Pink, a bright Barbie pink with gold shimmer flecks which looks very odd on my skin but will likely suit fair to lighter medium complexions; and #501 Soft Peach, a very sheer pinky coral shade with slight nude tones, leans warm, suitable for very fair to lighter medium complexions.

    The blushes all feel like applying primer, very silicone-heavy, so beware if your skin is sensitive to cones. I’m not a fan of that silicone feel in general, though it doesn’t bother my skin. They blend easily but almost too easily – as in, they slip around on your face and can even roll off/pill a bit (depending on what’s on your skin prior to application), plus come out uneven depending on how you apply them. When I used a sheer setting powder on top, most of the colour was gone. I find patting them on with fingers or a small stippling brush works best, and if you need to apply powder on top- use a sponge or extremely soft brush to very lightly pat it on. This stuff can move around for a while till it “sets”. Once dry it looks nice, and quite natural. The blush dries to a powdery finish in feel though it does not appear dusty or dry looking at all. It applies smoothly even over drier patches and does not accentuate pores.

    All the shades are sheer with varying intensity, #502 Soft Pink and ##501 Soft Peach are almost undetectable on my skin colour, but I will try it out when my skin gets lighter in the winter and possibly update then. My favourite is #503 Soft Berry – looks great on my olive skin, very natural and pretty when applied with a light hand. They are good if you are looking for a more soft blush, if you want something more pigmented I would recommend ELF HD cream blushes or MUFE’s cream blushes instead. Becca’s Beach Tints also have better pigmentation in a lighter more fluid consistency with better, more sophisticated shades overall.

    Longevity is poor. This barely lasted through a day of work for me, and started to fade after only 4 hours. To be fair, I work long hours in a busy hospital and most products don’t last a full work day on me, but other blushes (MAC, ELF HD) do last at least 8 or more hours without fading. I would only wear the L’Oreal for a short trip to the store or something, but I wouldn’t rely on it for a night out or a work day.

    Overall

    Pros:
    – should last a long time as you only need a small amount per use
    – non drying
    – dries to a powdery non-sticky or greasy finish

    Cons:
    – lack complexity/wearable range of shades for various skintones
    – silicone heavy (this may or may not bother some)
    – has more slip than any other cream/gel/etc blush I’ve used and therefore can go on patchy or be blended away to nothing easily
    – not long-lasting (maybe it will wear better on drier skin. .?)
    – a bit pricey for drugstore
    – IMO, I would have liked the shimmer to be more subtle

    Repurchase/Recommend? Nothing about this blush makes me feel like I can’t live without it. I won’t repurchase as I didn’t find the colour selection interesting nor flattering and longevity is poor. I would only recommend this if you like a sheer, natural (well, aside from the bit of shimmer) look and are willing to touch-up during the day.
