This strong bright pink blush with cool undertones is richly pigmented, with matte finish. The colour may look somewhat scary in a pan, but it looks very natural on me (I’m fair-skinned with strong cool undertones), it instantly livens up my face giving me a healthy flush and glow. The texture is velvety, a bit dusty, but it doesn’t look dry or powdery on the skin. However, for some reason (perhaps because it’s matte and intensely pigmented) it applies unevenly to my skin so it takes a bit of extra work to blend it out. The staying power is very good, it wears well for some 9 hours before fading slightly.

This is a WINNER.
I was prompted to buy this blush after reading the glowing reviews for the same Afterglow shade in the previous packaging, now listed as discontinued. Anyway…didn’t want to add my review to a discontinued product listing when the shade has not been discontinued, but UD merely updated the packaging.
I’m so glad I tried this. It looks scary and garishly bright in the pan, but on the cheeks, so lovely. It is silky smooth, and blends out SO easily, like a dream. It is pigmented, but not as bright as in the pan, and like i said, it sheers out easily. It’s not at all hard to get this to look good on fair/light skin. It could also look great on darker skin. Gives a beautiful flush of color.
For the quality this is reasonably priced at $26, though I got it at Sephora’s VIB 20% off sale, and I have read that occasionally Ulta sells UD Afterglow blushes at 50% off. I’ll be keeping my eyes open for that because I’d love to try other colors, which are sure to be winners if they blend out like this one does.
It would be nice if the compact came with a mirror but then again I’m in front of my bathroom mirror when I apply this and it lasts on me, so I don’t need to carry it with me for touch ups. I said I’d buy it again but realistically speaking, I need to use so little that this is gonna last me for years.
