I had been using Jane Iredale’s cream stick blush before this, which is fantastic. But I went through the product in only 3 months, so I was looking for comparable product in a larger size that would last longer. This has great ingredients and a better cost/ounce, so I gave it a try. The Nude Peach color is exactly what it sounds like– a nudey peach, which goes well with many makeup looks and makes my pale skin look more alive. It also has a pretty good wear time for a cream blush, around 4-6 hours.
The problem? The stick formula is way too hard! The only way to transfer this to your skin requires serious pressure– either you have to drag it across your skin (ultimately ruining whatever base/concealer you have underneath), or you have to make a hard “stamp” of dots on your face and then blend them together with your fingers. It’s not ideal, so I wouldn’t repurchase for that reason. I feel like it needs to be warmed up or softened somehow, otherwise it’s way too hard to work with.
I noticed they repackaged this into a much smaller tube at the same price, while also changing the name to the Nudist Multi-use Cream Stick, FYI. So you get less of a crappy product, but still have to pay the same cost, ugh. Not cool.
