I hate to be the dissenter here, but I had a very bad experience with Colourpop’s blushes. The two that I bought both dried up incredibly fast, much faster than the Super Shock Shadows. I think maybe there was a flaw in the packaging, but I definitely would not buy any of their non-pressed powder blushes again. The shades were nice, but it was really hard to get them to apply well with a brush. I don’t mind using my fingers for eyeshadow, which is what I have to do with CP’s SSS, but I didn’t find fingers to work very well with the blushes. Overall, these were a huge miss for me.

I am not a fan. Not of these super shock ones. I cannot for the life of me get this blush on my brush — and I have a nice brush. I don’t know what the deal is — but it doesn’t seem to be pigmented, yet I know it’s colour pop it has to be? I don’t know what the problems is. It must be a density thing. It might be that I have a synthetic brush and I need natural hair? I’m not sure. I guess I could ask them. I can’t seem to get the color onto my cheeks, and I’ve hit pan on one of them. Bizarre!! Let me know will ya -if you guys know something I don’t in application? Thanks.

Hint: Store them upside-down. Applies like a dream. Soft, buttery, and the colours are 100% buildable. Fades a little throughout the day, but nothing too bad. Use your fingers to apply for the best results.

Just throwing my two cents in: I have this blush in Get Leid (eyeroll), and I like it. It’s just a nice soft orange, nothing much more to it. Which I enjoy, since I don’t think shimmery blushes wear well on me.
I find the texture easy to blend. I tap it on to give myself clown cheeks, then I buff & blend out the edges with a dense synthetic brush (real techniques expert face brush). It stays on reasonably well for me. 4-5 hours, and I have oily skin so nothing stays on much longer than that.
If I have any complaint it would be that the packaging is dumb. I know the pan is super shallow so there’s no reason for the whole unit to be so tall – it just takes up unnecessary room. For $8 I’m fine with the amount of product you get – no need to try to make it look like more. Wish it just had a simple thin compact like a NYX blush.

I have this in Prenup (mid pale pink) and Rain (dark purple). I find that these are very light and easy to build the pigment as desired, so it won’t go on skin too harsh unless you really dip into it. This is very important if you use a bolder colour like Rain. I find it easiest to apply with fingers as the formula is a very light cream.It has an average wear for a blush. These are super cute and fun. This is clearly a high quality formula for a cream blush.

One of my favorite blushes. I have this in Cheerio, which looks incredibly scary in the pan but is the PERFECT natural flush if you have medium/tan skin (I’m NC40). I have a real problem where because I have tan skin, what brands say are “natural” blushes for lighter skinned people do not look natural on me – they look fine, but definitely like I have put on a look for the day, which I don’t always want. Medium skinned people do not usually naturally flush true pink – it’s often closer to a blue-y purple.
This color genuinely looks like my skin when it is sunkissed or I’m a bit flushed, which is exactly what I want. It has a cool purple undertone, which is hard to find in a blush – I think it actually helps mesh it with my skin, as I don’t have peachy undertones at all.
I initially tried applying this with my fingers, as I do the Super Shock shadows, but it wasn’t the easiest to blend out on the cheeks. While you want to concentrate pigment when applying eyeshadow, blush is the opposite. What works best for me is transferring the product from pan to skin with my fingers and tapping it out a bit, and then finishing off by buffing it in with a synthetic blush brush. Don’t be intimidated by the intensity of the color – it blends out to be a noticeable, but natural flush. Packaging is nothing special, but works just fine. Texture is that crazy signature ColourPop Super Shock bouncy, creamy powder that is hard to describe. Price is amazing for what it is.
Definitely worth a try for my fellow medium-toned ladies.

I am just not convinced I like this texture. It is quite thin in texture, and the colours don’t seem to wow me in any way. I like to use a cushion puff to apply this, or a sponge versus my fingers as this ‘cream/powder’ hybrid does not lend itself to the best quick application.
Colourpop products have a tendency to be used up in a short amount of time- it is simply something about the formula. It will definitely be finished with regular daily use in a short period of time. That being said, it is not as if I ever pan or finish other blushes (cream or powder).
The Canadian dollar does not make this comparable to the drugstore blush that I would purchase. For that, and the fact that using this blush seems to give me ‘none of the feels’, I just wouldn’t repurchase.

I have mine in between the sheets and I love it so much! In the beginning I didn’t like it cuz I wasn’t comfortable with the the creamy formula, but I soon found out applying with fingers/sponge gives such a nice finish that lasts all day:) love the color as well!

I have only bought one Colourpop blush, in the shadw Bardot, and I actually liked it a lot. It’s VERY pigmented, which is my favorite part about it. It also stays on very well, even through an 8 hour period. The fomula is very soft, so be careful about not dropping it. Another thing is that it is a but hard to pick up on a brush and blend out. The best way to apply it is with your hands, which hasn’t been a problem for me.
The price definitely wasn’t bad for this product, itbwas $8 for something I see myself using a lot in the future. I also plan on buying different Colourpop blushes in the near future.
SUGGESTION BEFORE BUYING: Before buying a specific shade, look at swatches for places other than the Colourpop website. As with many products from there, the swatches on the website aren’t the most accurate.
