The colour is absolutely beautiful and it does look lovely on, probably the nicest blush ever when it’s first applied. Unfortunately it doesn’t have much staying power, and the texture is dry and difficult to work with. I use a Real Techniques brush (think it’s the stippling brush) to apply it which works fine on bare skin that’s been moisturised to within an inch of its life, but fingers I’ve found hopeless and if I try and use this over tinted moisturiser or a liquid foundation, it drags, sticks, goes patchy and is just generally far too dry. So sadly this is reserved for good skin days when I don’t want to wear much other than mascara. I would repurchase but only because the colour is so frickin perfect, if I could find it in a powder or better cream formula I would never darken a MAC counter again!

I love this one.it s so pretty.gives a healthy color.the only problem is i had to buy a brush for it cause i couldn t use it properly.so i bought the mac 188 which is very versatile anyway.so it wasn t just for the blush.it works really well with liquid found.not so much maybe with powder.

Pigmentation:
Part of the reason that the Cremeblushes are so versatile is that they are only moderately pigmented, at least on my NW 35 skin. Keep in mind that if you’re paler, less will always be more than if you’re tan. It takes quite a bit of product and building to get either shade to show on my skin – but this varies depending on your skin type (My cheeks are oily) and complexion.
Application:
The cremeblush formula (cream blushes in general, but cremeblush especially) is prone to sweating and melting so store it appropriately. I like to let it warm up a little before I apply for optimum smoothness. It builds easily and is resistant to looking “cakey.” This is a very safe choice for cream blush beginners because it’s hard to overdo it!

Best Cream blush ever

Something Special, IMHO, is nothing special. I find the texture to be somewhat stiff and difficult to blend. It has the tendency to wipe my makeup off. I also don’t love the color. I find it washes me out, and I’m an N/NW10-15, so I can’t really figure out why it has so many great reviews.

Received this in a swap. My first MAC blush and I love it! To echo what another reviewer wrote (nhmidi?):
The color gives a beautiful, natural flush and is very pigmented. The color can be easily built up, and easily sheered out with your fingers if you happen to apply too much product.
I used a Real Techniques stippling blush to apply and it looks beautiful. So natural.
Highly recommend!

I am so sad! I have a fair and warm skin tone (NC15), apparently very warm since this blush is just too pink for me .. I ordered it last week and was all over my mail box every day until it came, sooo much anticipation! But unfortunately, it’s just not suitable for my skin, as it turns BRIGHT pink when applied. I’m considering putting this up for swap. So guys and gals, if you are have a very warm (and fair) skin tone, like myself, you may want to be prepared that this lovely blush might clash with it … 🙁 (Ladyblush and Brit Wit are my to go MAC-blushes.)

I am OBSESSED with this blush. It’s a gorgeous light pink coral and it lasts for ages. I just apply it with my fingers or use the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. Looks amazing with a tan.

I love this blush, plan and simple. It is a beautiful light pinky coral which looks beautiful on my NC15 skin. It is very flattering and I find myself reaching for this when I want a no-makeup look and literally just wear this and a light bb creme. It gives such a natural pretty flush to the cheeks without being too dark. I’m not sure how well this would fare on a darker skin tone than say NC30, as it is a light, soft colour, but for those pale skins like me, you won’t regret purchasing this. Probably my second favourite blush ever, (after Nars Deep Throat!) and for sure the best cream blush I own.
I sometimes use a Sigma F84 to blend this out but usually I find fingers work the best. A beautiful, easy to use product, especially if you are new to cream formula. Love it!

This is just a really natural-looking creme based blush. I’ve been using it for 4 months now and I don’t leave the house without wearing it. If you want a natural looking, peachy / coral looking blush, then this is a very nice looking blush.
This product is not available in the Philippines (where I am living), but it was available in Singapore when I went to visit.
I use it with a stippling brush and just dab on the apples of my cheeks and I’m all done.
I gave it a 3 rating for the price since we all know that MAC products are a bit too pricey but will definitely buy again since it’s such a natural looking color and very easy to apply / blend.
PS – if you do want a blush close to this color with a natural looking finish but in powder form, try Maybelline’s Cheeky Glow in Wooden Rose (it’s inexpensive too but still works great)
