Essence blushes are amazing. They discontinued this particular line, but I use the Silky Touch Blush in the shade Babydoll as my everyday blush. It’ll probably take me a while to pan, even though I’ve been using it on a regular basis for about a year already. But once it’s used up, I’m definitely going to pick up another Essence blush. They’re extremely inexpensive but perform just as well as any high end blush I’ve ever used.

Great product. It’s easy to apply, good pigmentation, natural finish and affordable. With regards to pigmentation, depending on how light or dark a shade you buy, this will result in you using more or less product (I’ve tried 2 shades). I gave this 4 lippies instead of 5 because the lasting power could be improved.

I have this blush in the pinkish shade, I don’t know how it’s called. It has the perfect pigmentation for what I like. If you like something more intense, this blush is also buildable. Doesn’t stay “on top” of foundation, looks natural. And did I mention the very good price? I recommend it.

it is very soft and not too pigmented. very blendable. lasting power is alright too but i enjoy elf blushes more. however these are nice as well but i might not repurchase it

I love this product so much and it’s so affordable!

Another holy grail, discontinued. I have it in the shade Babydoll. This blush was only around $3. It really is silky. It’s pigmented (but not overly-so). Blends well. Shimmery but not in-your-face highlighter-esque shimmer. Drugstore quality packaging but for $3 who could complain? I would’ve repurchased, but the beauty gods like to take away every makeup product that I love.

I have four colors in the now discontinued Silky Touch line (replaced with Satin Touch blushes).
Adorable (reviewed seperately) – easy to wear neutral pinky peachy color
Babydoll – very similar to Adorable, a bit darker, a hint of rose, more gold shimmer
Autum Harvest – more peach/gold, more shimmer (very similar to Luminoso but I like Essence’s better!)
Life’s a Cherry – bright cherry red/pink with a bit of shimmer, apply lightly. I imagine that this is my cheap-girl version of Mac’s Frankly Scarlet but I don’t have it to compare to.
These are all lovely and soft, they are easy to blend. None are matte, they are all shimmery to an extent. All the shades except for Cherry lean a bit warm on me because of the gold shimmers and some underlying peachy/apricot tones.
Adorable and Babydoll are a REALLY similar. I don’t think anyone needs them both. There aren’t any true cool toned blushes amongst the ones I have, although I thought Babydoll was supposed to be mauvey (it just isn’t for me).
These were the first blushes I loved, and I’m sad that they discontinued these colors. There are only two blush shades in the new line (I own and have reviewed one – Satin Love).

Very soft and blendable blush. The texture is smooth, but also a little dusty when i put my brush in it. I don’t really mind that though. I really like how the colours i have (Adorable and secret it-girl) look on my skin, however, i wish they were longer lasting.
They are not my favorite blushes, and i also don’t really reach for them, but they are still great blushes, for at great price.

Doesn’t last as long as Milani or Bourjois blushes, but it is still pretty.

My review may not be the hightest but I still think the Essence blushes are among one of the best blushes in the drugstore. The best thing about them is the price, you can get them in Germany if they are on sale even for 95 cent! The also have a good colour range. They feel quite good on the skin and blend aswell ok. The packing is also nice since they are so small. However they don’t last for a long time (but ok I have oily/very oily skin soooo….) and it seems like they break me out…
