It is basically a better version of benefit’s Dallas. It is a great nude blush/cheek contour color for fair skin

I purchased the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour powder Blush in the new shade “SENSUAL”. It is one of the 3 new releases of blush (and one Highlighter) in the Naughty Nudes collection that came out Summer 2016. It is the lightest of the shades & described by Tarte as “a golden nude”. I don’t totally agree, as i definitely see rose tones in there. That’s actually what sold me on it. I planned to use it as a bronzer as it’s not a flat matte, but it definitely doesn’t have any sparkle, glitter or real “sheen” to it. I have a medium, cool-to-neutral skin tone. Most bronzers have too much orange & they make my face look dirty. I’ve tried all the trendy ones, both high-end and DStore. The only one I could use was Benefit Hoola, but it still had more golden tones to it that i wasn’t completely satisfied with the look. It was also a smidge too dark for my liking. It works fantastic for me when i use self-tanner on my face and with just my untanned ‘natural coloring’. You can either strategically place it or lightly dust it all over your face with a big fluffy powder brush to bring some healthy, sunny color to your whole face. Not sure if it’s LE…thought i heard it was. I plan to buy a backup or two just in case. For reference, I own about 15 of their other blushes in single compacts & palettes, and it’s pretty standard issue as far as Tarte blushes go. They are my favorite. They don’t kick up a lot of dust and they are packed semi-hard, but the color payoff is always great and you can go sheer or easily build up with them. They offer beautiful colors in both matte & shimmery shades. I haven’t been disappointed in any of them. I’ve even used a few of them as eye crease shades.
