I bought this in Bone Beige for my Nc30 skin. This is user friendly and I say that because the packaging is simple and it’s a compact! Only two colors to choose from and that’s your contour and highlight. This blends very easy and it doesn’t leave patches this really sculpts the face. Product picks up well so a little goes a long way that’s a (big plus for me)! The highlight isn’t really dramatic this gives a natural glow this is perfect for people who don’t prefer dramatic highlight. I applied another highlighter over and it was just glowing! I bought it for $26 USD that’s a steal if you ask me I love MAC . If you know how to blend you’ll love this product application is a huge factor make sure you have the right products for your face and use techniques that work for your face!! I will repurchase this product!

I bought this when it first came out in the split pan. Tried it a couple times and it’s been sitting in my drawer ever since. I’m a C3/NC30 and it just didn’t show up enough. I’d have to pack it on to make any noticeable difference and by that time it would look dry and powdery. Accentuate might be more workable for me for *very* subtle highlight on brow or cheek bones, but if I put too much on, it looks ashy. Sculpt just takes too much work to show up, and by the time it does show up, I’m a muddy mess. For contouring, I prefer a deeper shade that doesn’t need so much packing on, especially for the side of the nose. That can look fake really fast. I find it easier to get the right effect with a very sheer application of a darker shade than packing on a lighter one. Maybe I needed a deeper ‘set’, which is why I still gave it 3 lippies. it is VERY smooth albeit dry and powdery, which makes me question it’s lasting power. Heck, I got better results contouring using Copperplate eyeshadow!
If you’re lighter than NC30, this may work as a subtle highlight/contour combo. I’ve brought it out again recently to see if I could make it work, but still no bueno. Not sure if the newer individual pans are any improvement over the original but sadly this is a no-go for me. 🙁

My product, Accentuate Shaping Powder, is not a split pan but a pale fleshtone with barely perceptible shimmer. It is an older product but it is great. It works as a reverse contour i.e. it is applied below the hollow of the cheek and on top of the cheek. Nothing could look more natural or more fetching. None of that dirty cheek look which even if it is a good match renders the overall effect of bringing your face down. This was a brilliant idea and I hope they continue to make it.

It works really well with fair skin. The contouring color is a neutral medium brown without any shimmer in it, and it doesn’t look red or orange on me at all, very subtle and natural on me. The highlight color is a light flesh color which has some well defined shimmer in it, but not too much, and both of the colors are easy to blend.
The only thing I am not happy with is that I dropped it on my bathroom floor and it broke into pieces, so it is very hard to use because the two colors sort of mix together, and I couldn’t get a new one since it is extremely hard to find in the market.

This is a very nice sculpting powder if you didn’t like “Blunt” as a contouring shade. I am NC20-25 and this is so nice and fool proof to work with. The shade is a light matte milky chocolate brown with no reddish or plum tones. The best thing is that this contouring shade doesn’t clash AT ALL with the rest of my makeup, neither eyeshadows or blushes, because it is a neutral shade that goes with everything. The lighter vanilla shade is very beautiful and elegant too!!! If you want to do contouring, go and get this duo!

I purchased *Sculpt/Accentuate @ a Mac store reccommended by the MUA,since they didn’t have the Accentuate pro palette.I was really excited about using this product, since I had been using *Harmony with some peachy make-up looks.I tried the product out the next day.Using a light hand, for the *Sculpt side. The result was muddy along my cheekbone not cute @ all.I will sadly return this product =(

This is a great blush to give you cheek bones when you don’t have any. In the pan it looks kind of blah, a matte light brownish color, and the other side is a pale slightly pink shimmer. However, i use this blush almost daily. I put the darker color usually on and slightly under my cheekbones. I think that this is pretty much fool proof because it goes on lightly and is very easy to build up. So if you want strong cheekbones, or something natural, this is it. Great for people new to countouring 🙂 As someone else mentioned also, it does make my round face look thinner, so thats a huge plus. As for the shimmer side, it works well with the brown side, but there are better highlighters out there, but its nice. Not to too shimmery. It gives a pretty natural glow. Btw, I actually found this little gem at the CCO.

I love half of this. The contour shade is wonderful. I have tried using a bronzer to contour and I don’t get the same wonderful shadow effect that this gives me it just makes me look really dirty. I should note that I am super pale NC 15 is about right on me. So when I first saw this I wasn’t sold but the MA at Mac showed me how it was done and I have been hooked ever since. This is the only product that I use everyday. It instantly makes me look 10 pounds thinner so for me it is total love.
The highlighter side gets a lot less love. It really just doesn’t show up on my face at all. Not helpful. One lippie gone for useless highlighter.

Both colors worked well on me , accentuate is great as it highlights my skin without making it too pale and it looks really natural. When i first got it i thought sculpt wouldnt be dark enough but once u try it on ur face it acutally works just right~ texture is great , powder is really fine , i like it ~!!
