Why it is called “Mauve” I don’t understand. It is a light peachy pink with some coral in it and satin finish. This shade is good for everyday look, but for me not the favorite. I have cool undertone and coral or peachy blushes are just not my thing, they emphasize all imperfections, redness and under eye circles.
As for quality, it is not too pigmented, not too chalky or powdery, easy to blend and lasts a long time. The packaging isn’t best, but I don’t expect a $5 blush to have fancy packaging, let’s be real.
Overall, I would recommend it if you are into such colors, it is a good quality blush, but for me it is just not the best purely because of shade.

Pb13 mauve is not mauve like the name suggests but more of an almost neutral pink shade leaning just a bit warm. Its great for everyday wear coz its not too warm or too cool and very wearable.

I must have gotten a bad one or something . This blush is not pigmented at all!!! I scrape my brush to get any color on my face and I’m a fair skinned girl! Nothing works with this blush and I barely get it to show up on my skin. This is definitely a pass, I wonder if I just got a bad one.

this is the second blush that I purchased from this company. My only complaint is that the lid of the blush breaks easily. the color of the blush is a neutral toned pink which is perfect for when I’m doing a grey smokey eye. I apply this color lately to the apples of my cheeks with my real technique blush brush. this blush is very pigmented and the price is even better at about $6.00.

I went to Ulta the other day and was browsing the NYX section. So, I decided to give this blush a try. I applied it with a brush and was happy with how it looked. It is a pretty pink shade with no shimmer. I highly recommend and would buy again.

This is the most flattering blush I’ve ever own. It give me a natural rosy glow without any shimmer even through it kinda look peachy in the pan. It’s not chalky at all and last all day long from 9 to 5. I really love this blush.

Eek! I love this! My first NYX blush and I am not disappointed. This is super pigmented and not powdery – it gives my NC25 skin the most natural rosy flush. I spent at least 10 minutes trying to choose between Mauve, Rose Garden and Pinched. Although this one was the least flashy I am so happy I went with this color! With the summer heat, I try to stay away from super shimmery blushes if I know I could be sweaty (I’m naturally very oily) and I didn’t want too much added sheen. This is great – it’s lasted around 7-8 hours on me. I’d definitely repurchase!

I feel like a bit of a Negative Nancy writing this review, since all of the other commentators seem to laud this blush…but it just didn’t cut it for me. I didn’t find it pigmented enough, and I am VERY fair. It was also difficult to get any on my blush brush, and it took several attempts to achieve the sort of flush that I like.
I’ve recently begun to eliminate from my health/beauty routine any products that contain parabens and other harmful chemicals, so I would have ended up dumping this blush even if were satisfied with it. I am now using Too Faced’s Full Bloom powder blush in “Cocoa Rose,” and I couldn’t be any happier with it–it’s paraben-free, well-pigmented, long-lasting, and is a matte, muted pink/brown that doesn’t look dirty or fake on my cool-toned fair skin.

This is my one and only HG status blush. As a natural red head, blushes that have any brown in them usually read as muddy on me. This color has a very pure pigment base, no brown to deepen it. It is the most perfect natural, neutral slightly rosy peachy pink. It reminds me of (not dupe for, just reminiscent) of Estee Lauder Sensuous Rose (which is more red) or MAC Tenderling (which is more peach) or Tarte exposed (more pink)-that very neutral not pink or peach or red or brown. I feel like it’s what I wanted MAC Melba to be, which ended up being way to brown/muddy on me. I have a hard time calling it a color besides “nude”. Certainly not “mauve”. I guess I always imagine plum or berry when I hear “mauve,” then again this is NYX where “beige” is really classic pink.
This blush is matte. It has a very soft blendable texture that’s idiot proof for sleepy mornings, heavy hands, or inexperienced users. And it lasts all day for me. Every time I wear it I think, “Why do I own 35 other blushes when I have this one?” I feel very soft, pretty, and sophisticated with this one. Sort of Christina Hendricks Mad Men.
Additionally, you can easily get it at Ulta and it’s cheap. Can it get any better? Maybe if it were in a round pan that I could depot and put in my MAC palettes.

This blush is amazing for the price. If you’re looking for a nice neutral blush, this is your best bet. It’s more rosy than mauve IMO. It also has some shimmer in it too, it’s not entirely matte, if that’s what yuo’re looking for.
